I only recently learned of the whole Hurricane Erin thing, but it seems like every conventional narrative on 9/11 articulates that it was a beautiful day. Even if that's true, what difference does that make? What other catastrophic events are remembered for their weather that day - other than weather events themselves? I feel like it's a misdirect to try to FORGET that Hurricane Erin was even a thing. All this is to say that maybe the Directed Energy Weapons theory is true. Idk. At the very least something stinks about this "beautiful day" commentary.

I was in sixth grade that morning. eleven years old for bongs and such. i had eggo waffles that morning. the ones where it was four little ones in a square instead of one big one. i'm in california, so the both planes had hit before I woke up. we went to school normally but everyone was sent home by 10 am.

Was this the last time America was united in purpose and culture?
>>
>>520570615
I too was in the sixth grade and grew up like 90 minutes from ground zero. They didn't tell us shit and we were in school the whole day. I found out initially through a kid on my bus otw home. Idk how he found out. Then my mom explained it to me when I got back.
>>520570767
Sounds cash. I might need to make some. Do you still live in Commiefornia?
>>
>>520570815
i dont remember too much before it at that age and in the violent house we grew up in but i definitely remember that afterwards was when we started feeling much more wary of everything around us
>>
>>520571094
i do unfortunately and today is the day we're voting on our shitheel governor's redistricting proposition. they dont make the little round eggos stuck together anymore. the new ones look like toast or something.
>>
>>520571258
I was googling around trying to figure that out. They've taken away everything was good from us. Good luck today anon give them hell out there.
>>520571166
>>520570815
I agree that 9/11 ushered in the age of wariness. Made me glad I had a pretty normal childhood before that and in some ways, was one of the markers to start my teenage years. Even then, going through teens and early college without a smart phone was a blessing in disguise. To me, the wary feeling 9/11 brought created a sense of fear more than it tarnished a newly created sense of unity. That sense of unity went down the tubes though after Occupy Wall Street. I feel like that's when the identity politics floodgates burst wide open and the 'divide and conquer' strategy really came through. Probably because we are all indeed economically oppressed shills. That we do have in common.
>>
>>520571166
Sorry you grew up in a violent house BTW. Hope things are better now. You're here, anyways.
>>
>>520570409
some will protest and say there was a high pressure front that magically only acted on pushing the hurricane during the hours of the attacks
and it magically turned it 90 degrees in just a few hours

you don’t get it, jet fuel burns so hot that the dust from the internal fires and smoke and molten metal caused massive winds that blew the hurricane away
duh fuckin idiot
>>
>>520574294
Didn't Trump say something about steering hurricanes with nukes or something?

Like at the time everyone just forgot about the hurricane because of the 9/11 trauma and after the fact its memoryholed as "a beautiful day".

>>520570409
It was a beautiful day. That hurricane is as far from NYC as Chicago. You dumb zoomer.

>>520570409
Ya they brought a tv into French class for us to watch and our teacher had a mental breakdown and said it was the end of the world. I remember walking home after. It was really nice out
>>
>>520570615
I was in the Maryland suburbs, elementary school. About midway through the day or whatever they sent everyone home. They didn't tell us why but one of the teachers was playing the news for his class. Someone from that class told me they destroyed the twin towers and I didn't know what that even was so I just said "Cool." It was not cool.
>>
>>520575519
Same, this one teacher stormed into our classroom and made it sound 10000x worse than it was.

Indeed not cool. I don't think those teachers were wrong or overreacting. Absolutely nothing good came from 9/11 and nothing was less bad than expected. The whole world suffered one way or another.

I was a freshman in high school. I also grew up in California. I was at home sick. I went to the doctor at about 11am and was diagnosed with mononucleosis. My blood test had to be flown to some lab in the Midwest for some reason. All flights were were canceled so my blood test didn’t get to the lab for about a week. Confirming the diagnosis.

Old fag here. There was no hurricane. All the reports of it being a beautiful morning were because that’s what it was. Have you ever watched the local news? Every time it’s nice they lead with that. If you want a conspiracy google the Donald Rumsfeld press conference that happened September 10th.
>>
>>520575341
Still not relevant in the slightest to the events at hand. The only question that matters in relation to the weather is WHY was it a beautiful day?
>>
>>520576630
Like it must have been. Either a HAARP demonstration, direct energy weapon demonstration, or both. It served as a proof of concept though for sure.
>>
>>520576970
>Old fag here. There was no hurricane.
kys, the existence of hurricane Erin is not in question
unless you're a retarded faggot
we all know Rumsfeld announced there was 2.3 Trillion in the Pentagon budget that they couldnt account for on Sep 10th
but far less know about the Iran Contra funds that were rolled into a bond that matured on 9/12/2001 and paid out 240 billion to the glowniggers that created it
and that Bush announced that they would fast track all these financial transactions for the week and not review any of them and just pay 'em out

I know it was a nice day, I member. And yes I get the news reporting on it as a nice day at the time. But why it continues to be eulogized as a nice day is what raises questions for me.

Glad you pulled through. Like the pandemic, i never thought about how many medical procedures and treatments got fucked up as a result of 9/11.

anytime fren
another nugget is that building 7 housed all of the SEC's evidence in the Enron/Worldcomm frauds
will ya look at that, what a pity, we cant prosecute most of it now because the evidence is gone
I'm sure many in our government breathed a sigh of relief when building 7 fell for absolutely no reason

me and a couple friends got laid off a month before 911 happened

9+ months of unemployment...there wasnt really quite so much expectation as hope this shit ends soon
dubya's unemployment extension kept my car paid for
back then it was mainly random forums
I was just beginning to question muh global warming when 911 happened
>>
>>520582024
Picrel Lucky Lary. I didn't know unemployment was extended. I guess it makes sense though. Makes me want to see like a 9/11 and COVID ven diagram.

I was a mere middle schooler at the time. Unemployment aside, what did you think of Dubya during the whole ordeal? (Not that it matters I guess since it was all a charade, not that he necessarily knew that).

dubya was installed to propagate daddy's legacy

If the hurricane hit new york, there would be other damage, but 9/11 basically wouldn't have happened. Can't fly the planes in the storm, and even if no planes, no one would have seen the buildings fall, it wouldn't have been recorded. I like to imagine that one faction of elites was trying to save us from the other faction of elites who wanted the GWOT

now nevermind that whole part about both planes flying over air force bases while in an active state of hijack
