Yesterday I finally managed to start playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I was so looking forward to it. The clips I have seen look amazing. And everyone was talking about how great it is a few years back when it came out. It seemed to be almost a cultural phenomenon. The worst thing about the game was how on rails all the gameplay segments were. Damn near every segment expects you to do it exactly the way they want with lots of scripted bullshit in between, nearly no player agency at all. Looking back, I can't belive I finished it. I was so done with all that shit by the end chapters. Don't even get me started on all the side content, so much time wasted riding around the map and everything having a fucking long ass animation tied to it for no reason other than to waste my fucking time. Could have finished an entire game it the time it took Auther to skin animals in a single playthrough.
