I'll write this out and then leave 4chan for today, because I'm supposed to be working remotely and have just been shitposting all day.I think that this replacement is a symptom of the free market working, first off, because no one would be interested in those things if they struggled to eat. Leftists are still against private property, but don't feel as strongly about it, and it just lost traction. It may also be an deliberate distraction, to an extent.If for some reason they changed this, that would leave a void, because many people actually are interested in fake childish causes like that, and someone could create a movement based on that, as the demand would be there.Many leftists, on the other hand, would move on to demand seizing the means of production for real, and they could become a problem. Everyone would starve if they did. But if there's even someone powerful who understand this and doesn't want the economy to be destroyed, they can be distracted, because they can't grasp complicated concepts very well, so if they were told "we will dismantle capitalism by removing central banks, monopolies and taxes" I think they could very well buy it and become beneficial instead of a threat.
