It's mostly the fact that a financier who moves stocks around the world and has spoken to leaders of 80 countries around the world and has massive influence and power reaching to almost every entertainment industry you know of (including 4chan here) was caught up in a sex trafficking ring and when he finally gets arrested, he ends up dead in his cell not having faced a trial combined with email leaks showing countless prominent famous and rich and powerful people around the world with no one facing charges. This makes people a little mad and disenchanted with the ruling class.
