A handful of fragrant spices and veg and you can make so many different and very tasty fuckin soups for very cheap.
Wearing clothes, wearing blanket, then heating if it is too cold. So many default straight to heating.
You don't need to live in daytime at night, do light-requiring tasks during day as much as possible, use a very low light source at night at best, ideally portable. I even DRAW at night time because I just use a very simple USB light to focus on the paper, only sketches and non-color work, and besides a monitor at low light it is the only light source in the room I'm currently in. I haven't put a ceiling light on in years besides testing.
Likewise clothing, so many overwash their clothes. You only need to wash underwear intensely, anything outside of that just sit it up on a "worn clothes" wrack and rotate around them, unless they get really dirty stains on them in which case wash. You can even get small underwear washing machines, but ideally you'd do them in batches in a regular washing machine.
There's so many ways you can easily save money, which you can put in to investments or towards "living in the now", or a mix if both.

It isn't hard to understand that the modern corporate economy selects for people who work hard but who are obsequious, politically correct, and who "buy in" to the globalised economy.

The guy on the right is the dude who repeated fifth grade and barely graduated highschool. Very friendly guy but dumb as hell and strong as an ox. Always helped people move furniture, do bull work, etc. one day, someone suggested he start charging people to move stuff, clear out garages, etc. 10 years later he has a thriving local business, 20 employees, and 3 houses.
The guy I know on the right is very smart and literally did not care at all about school. Kinda guy who sold candy at school that he bought from costco. Decided to go into IT not because he loved it but because he knew it paid well. Studied cloud shit because he knew it paid the most. Literally every job decision was "what pays the most". He works two jobs that he coasts at, makes like $300k a year, and is aggressively index fund maxing.
The guy in the middle? Very smart. Over achiever. Every club. SAT prep, college interviews etc. He's doing ok. Has a masters in data analytics from a grey company. But he's still an office drone with zero agency and every now and then he's on LinkedIn shilling for his company (for me lol) and parading some new bullshit cert he got. He will be working until the day he dies while the other two guys will be 50 and retired.
