good morning saar

You know OP I read the text you put into your post and I was about to process what you said and formulate a response but then I realized there would be no point because that wouldn't be thinking (according to you) so now I will happily go on my way.

Best tech in my lifetime

what this actually exposes is that most of what people do is just language processing. there's exceptionally scarce thought going on.
>>

and then you pressed [post].
>>
>>528948302
Yeah but the point is there was absolutely no thinking at any point when making that post. Or this post.
>>
>>528947430
What are you doing when you read? We really hate to think how mechanical and programmable we are
>>
>>528948412
notice how your linguistic processing was applied to an ego-knee-jerk with the goal of self validating? that's the majority of everything.

I processed a lot of text on /pol/ and the resulted output is:
Niggers tongue my anus TKD

I think it just reveals most humans are retarded trash and that nepotism was a horrible form of quality control.

Get with the world brain or find a different tree to fuck about in cus we're going to some weird ass places idk why you fags are so pessimistic AI is the one thing that will create the great awakening. The greatest happening ever. Yes in two more weeks. Have faith retards. The jews will lose its gonna be great.
>>
>>528947430
It's the same as niggers, really. They have great language skills, but there's nothing really going on behind the curtain.
That said, I love AI and use it all of the time. It's great for medical stuff, and decent for things like cooking where all of the information is out there and you just need to find and distill the good bits.

do you think in words anon? do the words come from a trained neural network (brain)? of course they do anon. you speak english you learned from data just like llm speaks english it learned from data.

Reinforced Learning and Artificial Neural Networks have been considered part of AI research for several decades.
No one said that LLMs are human level AI.
>>
>>528950181
LLMs are superhuman level readers and writers however. In human terms, LLMs are analogous to the brain structure known as Broca's area, something like 10% of a human brain, so about 10% of full AI.

>>
>>528947430
its because people think that the words they construct in their mind is thinking, when it is just words. the NPC meme literally has it backwards, although those with aphantasia are certainly lacking nous
>>
>>528950461
You can also make an AI that can calculate better than a human, an AI that can paint better than a human, etc.
But the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Put all those specialized AI together and it won't have what makes a human a human.
>>
>>528950902
of course we can make an intelligence as good as a human from raw material. we do it all the time and it is how we all got here to begin with. LLM is one part of 'human intelligence' (the language part). yes, there are other parts (balance, maintenance, memory, emotion, etc). all these have analogous neural network structures in the human brain. a sophisticated enough reproduction can be created and the output will not be meaningfully distinguishable from human intelligence except for being freed from limiations of the biological substrate. we can't support brains the size of a planet because of metabolic needs depending on stuffing food into a stomach for power--whereas we can support ai datacenters the size of a planet because we can build nuclear reactors to stuff them with power. there's nothing particularly good or special about human intelligence. we're not even the smartest animals on the planet earth. human self-idolatry is an inherent bias of our individualist cognitive perspective. we're deeply flawed, and there's no reason to build those flaws into AI anyway. we will have artificial nonhuman sentience in our lifetime. get ready for artificial life anon.

You yourself don't think, no one does. Thoughts pop in your mind and you claims those thoughts for yourself. The brain is more like a radio. That is why Jews are so powerful, they control the flow of mental images and thoughts. So long as they make you think of them, or enslave you to their egregore (YHWH) they win. This comment may be too deep for this shill-infested board

That's your problem:
>muh LLM
Well:
>Pure LLMs score 0% in ARC-AGI-2 benchmark
>https://arcprize.org/arc-agi/2/
Picrel: Humans incur costs of an average of $17 per test task, this new AI from Google costs 96 cents
*This 100% success rate with human participants is calculated as follows:
> To ensure calibration of human-facing difficulty, we conducted a live-study in San Diego in early 2025 involving over 400 members of the general public. Participants were tested on ARC-AGI-2 candidate tasks, allowing us to identify which problems could be consistently solved by at least two individuals within two or fewer attempts. This first-party data provides a solid benchmark for human performance and will be published alongside the ARC-AGI-2 paper.
> 100% of tasks have been solved by at least 2 humans (many by more) in under 2 attempts. The average test-taker score was 60%.

This is an ignorant take on the situation. I've used LLM's to review complex legal documents, expand functionality in code I have written (for embedded and we applications), as well as assisting in drafting patents. It has saved me literal months of human effort. Was I the creator of the actual content? Absolutely. However LLM's can certainly speed up otherwise lengthy iterative processes.

Individuals that "don't know what AI can be used for" or "think AI is an investment grift" are just flagging themselves as technically illiterate

It's just the next generation of search.
First there was keyword search, then image search, now search with text answers. Just requires more memory and faster computers.
ChatGPT thinks George Floyd was a better person than Charlie Kirk. It's all about control.

> What are you doing when you read?
When we read, our unconscious gets stimulated, emotions revive, images reappear before our inner eye, we associate what we read with experiences that we made before. We understand the meaning of it. Nothing of this happens when "AI" processes information. It can't understand, it has no understanding at all, no intelligence.
>>
>>528948274
Depends, some people do image processing, the language comes after.
>>
>>528947430
>processing text data is thinking
>I can't believe that people fell for that
that's exactly what your brain does, with text data, with audio data, and visual data.
Your brain is a predicting machine based on past known patterns.

If LLMs just regurgitate compressed text, they'd fail on any novel problem not in their training data. Yet, they routinely solve them, which means whatever's happening between input and output is more than retrieval, and calling it "not understanding" requires you to define understanding in a way that conveniently excludes everything except biological brains.

How do you define thinking? try this experiment: predict what thought will happen in your mind in five minutes. Then check the time and see if you have any control whatsoever on thaw your mind will think in five minutes. If you don't have any control over your thoughts, can you say that you are thinking? What is even a thought? Could you show a thought to me?

>>528953368
This is just borrowing machine language and applying it to the human brain. If you observe what happens in your mind, you don't see that. What you see is: a deluge of random images and sounds, verbal sequences, and flashes of intuition. If I try to exert control over what I think I can produce some kind of ordered outcome, but that outcome need a medium to express itself (like this message). And I am never in control on when to start a sequence. Stimuli behind my conscious will activate a sequence which I can try to manage or even stop. Machines, on the other hand, do exactly what you are saying.

they generate outcomes and values

it is not thinking, and yes, even an ant has concept models (maybe), concept models are when there is surprise
