This is a much different site now. I feel like COVID killed many things. Some of it is interior...you are older, you have yourself changed, and so on. As others have suggested, board cultures have changed dramatically because the quality of posting has gone down across the boards--/tv/, /b/, /sp/, /pol/, and so on have seen quality flee. Also, vibrant Internet culture itself dead. Most spaces have become gynocentric, heavily audited hellholes or replaced by them. This is post Eternal September/summer type shit; the Internet is has become a utility in the same sense of electricity, gas and water; there is little to no barrier to entry. Also, the old timers are no more. Antagonist Inc., SA FOAD types and Totse types have all but moved on. It's just digital memory.
