I'll go ahead and give my gay little answer I was born in 1993 so I know I'm not the oldest or the youngest here but I remember fondly growing up in America and being able to see different things everywhere different shops and places own and operated by people like you and me but now in 2026 all I see in my town are closed down abandoned dilapidated stores that once were or chain restaurants and stores that are no longer unique places special to the location but are a convenience dotted throughout the country and this is going to make for a very bland environment to live in that I'm sure will be grading on the mind and soul I don't care if you think it's gay for me to feel this way but I feel like crying whenever I see even the lamest most stupid place closed down like the record store I never went to I drove by it today and it was empty, all its signs are removed
