Why is creatine so cheap and pushed to youngsters for gym earnings?
The rational take is that is a byproduct of some industrial process that is shilled to consimers for profit. Something like fluoride in tap water(fluoride was a byproduct of some chemical industrial process as it is said).

Is it bad for you or something?
What's wrong with it?

I have seen a few people that after allegedly taking creatine for sometime (and by their sayings no other substances) they show somewhat (not so much) elevated blood creatinine after many months of cutting their creatine intake. This imo may hint at renal damage or stress.

You don’t take it for many months. You take it for like a couple weeks, then pause a couple weeks then take it again and pause for a month after every 2 months or so. It definitely has benefits such as faster recovery. And protects the brain. Bryan Johnson sells it. The longevity fag.

Do think they have specialized processes, chemical materials, production lines just to produce a very cheap supplement? It wouldnt be economically viable.

Many people say that creatine is produced internally in the body, and may be correct. But therea are two problems: The quantity taken may be very big compared to normal dietary precursor intake, and that exogenous creatine has different metabolic pathways due to absorption, chemical form or other unforeseen factors.

So is it bad for you or not?

An internal medicine doctor described creatine as a macromolecular metabolite that has difficulty going through the renal glomerus and told that creatine "scrapes the kidneys" that cant be renewed
