If i lose my white collar job to AI but somehow the lower class fantasy of AI not being able to sweep floor or do plumbing(beacuse its SO hard and only the smartest most capable people do in those fields right? Im an engineer, i know how to get past security systems, I used to design them for one of my jobs actually. I will never doing literal back breaking work. My health is not worth any amount of money, especially considering that none of them get paid anything close to a living wage.
I was actually a technician for 3 years before going to college. I know exactly what its about. They bodies are degrading 10 times fast. Im in less pain now in my 30s than I was in my late teens and mid-early 20s. Its brutal on yoy body. Everyone who was working with me was walking around like a penguin and absolutely miserable
