Why can't americans read anymore? Believe me or not, americans used to read more than europeans back in the 1920s, and used to be incredibly educated. Then they became a nation of hillbillies due to boomer education being too scared of the USSR making sense, and now americans have become just functionally illiterate.Why do american liberals think this is a problem?
