i went to Amsterdam 3 weekends ago, and walking over there to the Rijksmuseum from the Central Station, I was overwhelmed with grief. It was nothing like when I was little and I felt like a stranger walking through a bazaar, with nostalgic-familair architecture there bringing it to a fever dream.
