almost every single food you eat is a protein source. humans only need 5% of their calories to come from protein.
many people think you need tons of it, as if that is what gives you energy, but it doesn't do that at all. it only repairs tissue, grows skin and nails etc. breast milk is only 6% protein by calorie, and that is used to turn little babies into toddlers pretty quickly. so that leaves carbs and fats as energy sources.
any protein you eat over this amount is simply a burden on your body. it also makes you less insulin sensitive, if it's animal protein. plant protein does the opposite. fat messes up insulin sensitivity as well, it blocks the receptors and keeps circulating insulin levels high.
if you look at the chart, you can see that if you eat a diet of mostly starch, you are more than double the amount you need in a day already. potatoes have all essential vitamins and minerals except for b12, and most above ground starches lack vitamins c and a. but those are easily obtained via cabbage and carrots, two things which are usually pretty cheap in any area.
onions and garlic are cheap too, but don't have a lot of calories, which is what you need. same with most vegetables. fruit on the other hand has calories, as well as viamins/minerals/fibre. bananas are usually pretty cheap.
if you can get over the shame aspect, and instead call yourself an "urban forager", or something less gay, and go pick a grocery bag of dandelions from somewhere. he best ones are in slightly shady, overgrown areas, where they grow leaves the size of romaine lettuce. these are chock full of vitamins and minerals, and they sell for 3x the price of lettuce in my grocery store.
butter and beef are two of the most expensive ingredients right now, and hardly fit on a list of cheap food.

Beans and rice basically, bought dry dried and cooked slowly until soft, to this salt or salt pork or bacon and a thousand other herbs and spices can be added for extra flavor, it's best to fry the pork first for best flavor. To beans and rice you can add cornbread or tortillas or American style biscuits all cooked yourself from flour baking powder butter and milk as recipe demands. You can also buy potatoes in bulk and slice and gently fry in oil or water to soften or microwave them whole adding pepper or onions or chives or garlic chives and butter or sour cream as you like. You can add ground beef ir turkey to that or to the beans adding chili powder to make American texas style chili and serve with crackers or cornbread etc. Oatmeal is cheap also, especially if bought in the canisters but too much will give you diarrhea so use that occasionally. Learn to make cornbread and bake cookies for a treat. Purchase gtound cane sugar and put all dry food in mason jars so no bugs. Buy chicken and repack in freezer bags and freeze, take out day before you cook and bake in oven casserole dish or whatever with some canned tomatoes or some bbq sauce and herbs and honey with just a little water to make steam, cover with foil if you don't have a lid, cook for about 1 hour 45 minutes at 350f. Get cheap noodles and boil in pan until soft, drain water, add to chicken or chicken broth and salt for cheap chicken soup or use pasta sauce or salad dressing to make a pasta lunch or dinner, get peanut butter and jam for bread or for crackers or American biscuits. Get whole milk and extra pitcher, add 1/5 water to pitcher and water it down to make it stretch farther. Have dehydrated milk in hand too for baking, add water according to instructions to replace real milk in recipes. Buy generic everything if it's cheaper, brand names are jew tricks with a few exceptions
>>
>>535536651
milk is chock full of estrogen btw, both natural and artificial
whey protein is fucking poison and does nothing to boost muscle mass, or add sustenance to your diet. no energy. protein does not give energy, it gives massive profits to fatniggers on wall st though
more than 400-500g of protein in a day and you start to die, it's called rabbit starvation or rabbit starvation. native americans that tried to live on protein aka lean meat died. their diet was mostly vegetarian, lots of corn beans and squash. hunting was usually once or twice a year in the fall, with fishing being much more common. the skins would be infinitely more useful than the meat from these hunts.

I know this is a meme, but squab (baby pidgeon) is great. If you live somewhere rural and have the room you can unironically become a free range pidgeon farmer pretty easily (my neighbor does it). They'll fuck off and feed themselves then come back just to be slaughtered.

It's probably *the* easiest, cheapest meat you can harvest and it's higher in protein, iron and vitamins than chicken etc

Because they established their lives of slavery under foreign rule as a culture. Nothing screams slavery more than plant-based proteins. Beans and lentils were cultivated almost exclusively as slave food. It was supposed to give them muscles for work, but instead it degenerated them beyond measure.

Rice, beans, veggies of your choice.
Meat is getting pricey, but there's no bag limit on jeets, jews, and niggers.

You'll definitely want to hose down the jeet before dressing the carcass. pajeets are best roasted to well done or even burnt a little. You'll know the pajeet is done when the meat doesn't taste like poop. I've heard soaking the carcass in a mild lye solution for a few days also removes the poop taste from pajeet meat but I've never gotten it to work.

Nigger meat will always have a slight malt taste no matter what. Some people like that. No special prep needs to be done before dressing the carcass. Make sure you've got windows open in the kitchen if pan frying. Nigger has a very low flashpoint and will absolutely start your smoke detector chirping.

ashkenazi is the gamiest of all the meats. Definitely don't undercook. Full of parasites. Khazarian milkers render down into an ok broth.

>>535541080

>>
>>535540931
most often chicken breasts will be too overcooked to be nutritionally similar to an equivalent piece of beef, which can and should be eaten 1/2 done at the most
chicken meat also has less taurine (it let you absorb protein better)

calorie restriction is absolute hell on your body, and all of the data shows that you will not only gain the weight back, but gain even more on top of it. you are training your body to store fat.
if you eat the rice and omit the chicken, you would do much better on the weight loss aspect. it is all chemical and hormonal. proteins from animals decreases insulin sensitivity, and fat needs to be stored first in order to be used for energy.
if you do something counerintuitive, which is eat more rice, like 3000-4000 cals a day, you will actually get to a point where you are sart losing weight all on your own, even if you are "overeating". the overeating part is actually crucial. it lets your body know that there is plenty of food, and no longer needs to store fat in case of future famine.

Absolute cheapest:
-rice
-lentils
-dried beans
-bulk potatoes
-flour for shitty bread or dumplings/pasta
-onions
less cheap but cheap:
-eggs
-chicken drums/thighs
-hotdogs
-canned tuna
-vienna sausages (try to find either hot or bbq flavors
-frozen veggies (canned if you dont have a freezer but frozen are more nutritious and less mushy)
-apples/bananas/oranges
-neutral oil like rapeseed or corn
items that if used sparingly are cheap and keep you from going fucking insane:
-hot sauce
-rubs/seasoning mixes
-garlic
-drink mix powder
-candy bars
stuff that you think is cheap but is actually expensive:
-butter
-cheese (a little bit of cheese is good as a topping/flavoring but not as a main component)
-frozen dinners
-mayo
-dressings like ranch
-soft drinks

Make your own food from scratch when you can, about 75% of what you can buy pre-made you can make at home. fresh produce is your friend. flour+ oil: tortillas, yeast+flour: bread, flour+egg: pasta/dumplings. Scope discounts. learn to cook with shittier/off cuts of meat. meal plan and make big batches of food you can either store or eat a lot of at once and not hate it. Never eat at a restaurant and never order uberjeets. Drink more water stay more full for longer.

Beans and rice.

I make this recipe for my lunches, super cheap.

1lb hot Italian sausage
1 can kidney beans
1can garbanzos
1can black or white beans or both
1 can diced tomatoes
1 box chicken broth.
Salt and pepper.

Cook meat. Then add everything else. Cook to boiling then low heat for 20 mins. Done.
>>
Frozen veggies from Aldi, Coles, Woolworths. Mixed veggies are about $2.80 per KG. You can boil and serve with meat or throw into a slow cooker and make a soup.

Canned tomatos are cheap. You throw a few cans into a slow cooker with some onions overnight and you'll get a great spaghetti sauce. Aldi has cheap pasta sauce at $3 per KG.

Pasta is cheap.

Fresh carrots are often sold $1.80 per KG. Onions are around the same price as well. Pumpkins can be cheap. All soup material.

Buy discounted out-of-date bread and freeze it. I buy at around $1 or 2 per loaf. You can let it defrost in the fridge overnight and it'll toast fine. This is the roughage you combine with the soup.

When meat is cheap, you buy in bulk. Drakes here in SA had economy Porterhouse steak for $18 per KG. With RAA card, it's a 5% discount on top of that. You CAN buy cheaper meat, but it's largely sausages and patties that have been diluted with filler so it works out the same in the end anyway cost wise. I've never found a store bought sausage in Australia that didn't eventually have hard grizzle in it, no matter the price point. Same with mince, which I hate with a passion.

I do buy some discounted cheeses but I've largely abandoned dairy in my diet. No milk, no butter.

Olive oil is your friend. I put it on toast, fry my meat and veggies with it, etc etc. Not a wog but I enjoy med cooking.

Basically, when you shop you need to be aware of how much everything is costing per KG. The things that you think are cheap (2 minute noodles, baked beans, etc etc) are often only cheap because of the portion size is small.

2 minute noodles: $0.47/ 100g ($4.70 per KG)
pasta: $0.18/ 100g ($1.80 per KG)
>>
>>535545544
depends one what you actually enjoy eating but condiments go far (and these are cheap condiments):
-basedsauce for fried rice
-ketchup for eggs and potatoes
-mustard for hotdogs
-bbq sauce if you have the pallet of a child
-vinegar to boosts soups and stews and you can quick-pickle veggies as toppings
-chicken/beef bullion is an amazing ingredient for a million things

some of my tips are
-batch breakfast burritos with lots of potatoes and spice
-i'll get pork loin and lice that into little patties for breakfasts and general sandwiches
-if you have a bullet blender, that opens up the option to make a bunch of sauces and soups that taste really good (also blend beans into your food for extra fiber and bulk)
-tomato sauce is very useful and you can customize it on a stovetop
-unless you are cooking all the time, spices get very expensive but some are fantastic and pretty cheap. adobo is good all purpose seasoning. cumin, chili powder, paprika.
-salt is makes things taste good so learn how to balance food with it. Salt is like 'the loudness' of your food, some dishes are smooth jazz and some are hard rock
-watch some cooking vids online to get the basics and all you really need to get started is a knife and a pot

multivitamins are poison, and almost always make you sick. almost, but not all, supplements are worth avoiding.
the only thing you can't get from rice and beans, or either rice or beans on their own, is vitamins c,a and b12. cabbage covers c very nicely, and carrots have loads of a. yellow potatoes have tons of a, and white potatoes are also nutritionally complete save for b12.

Honestly it's not worth it eating the absolute bare minimum to save money. At a certain price threshold you are getting extremely diminished returns and will make yourself miserable which will affect everything you do in your day to day life. This will wreck your productivity and make you lose money indirectly. Don't abuse yourself too much with only rice and beans, just like you don't want to buy a bunch of junk and snacks and fast food. Balance
>>
>>535536052
Don't cheap out on food. Your health is the most important thing. Everything else can be sacrificed, but not your health. That doesn't mean expensive food is unconditionally good though. Micro-nutrient rich foods are ideal. Nigger-faggot-kikes will tell you to focus on "macros" and "balanced diet", but all you have to do is eat nutrient rich and bio-available foods, meaning they are almost entirely absorbed by the body. The cheapest is generally ground beef which is high in fat-soluable vitamins. Steak cuts are more expensive, and they trim the fat which ends up in the ground beef. I can also find liver for cheap because people are retarded and don't want it.

I've eaten primarily ground beef for the last 2 years and it's amazing. I do drink some fruit juices. It's like full hunter-gatherer diet, as nature intended.

It's about finding cheap food but also about sticking to the same thing over and over. You have to minmax this stuff really hard and think holistically. I've found that pasta is cheap as hell and calorie dense. You can make basic pasta everyday and then put various things on top of it for a bit of variety. Veggies are cheap. Then there's lots of good advice in this thread for cheap meats. I spend between 30 and 35 dollars a week on food as an adult male.

>sticking to the same thing over and over.
No, thats awful dietary advice. You really do want a diverse diet even if some of it is goyslop. You want nutritious foods as a baseline, meat, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, but you also want to have a scoop of icecream or some candy here and there. It's about keeping your mental health in check with things that taste good and make you happy like chocolate and cakes but also to enjoy satisfying meals with lots of nutrients.

If you're poor? you're gonna be eating boring rice/bread starch all day and its gonna degrade your health just thinking about eating more gruel. You need spice and sugar sometimes to keep your mood and attitude up. If you are on a restrictive diet to achieve a goal, thats a bit different but day-to-day living you want to enjoy what you eat and you can certainly find joy in things like cooked vegetables and fresh fruit, a good shit from a previous meal of lentils, you want to do that just to keep your hopes high

>>535555299
If you want to truly minmax what you get from your money it's easiest to just eat the same really cheap thing day in a day out with a little bit of variety like you're saying. I've been eating the same meals everyday for almost 6 months now and I've just kind of gotten used to it. I got a sandwich at Subway 2-3 months ago and it was 17 dollars, which is frankly just insane. Food prices are absurd now and the only way to spend the same amount of money as you used to is to downgrade your options. It sucks but it prevents me from spending a crazy amount on food.

you're right. at the end of the day consuming the same type of food and getting proper nutrition from it is, utilitarian speaking, good. it's difficult to assess 'what level of poor' someone is in these convos because, I believe there is some wiggle room on spending a few extra bucks here and there. consider a body builders diet where, those folk are generally not fine on finances and also they need to restrict what they eat for nourishment and also carbs+protien. for them. beans and rice and lean chicken breast it is.

Food prices suck a fucking dick right now and the days of easy cheap delicious food at a inconvenience i fear is over and that sucks a lot for everyone. You could get a big 3000 calorie fatty-turd of a meal for like 15 bucks at tacobell or mcdonalds and thats going away. quickly i might add.

It's good to hear some input that is actually valuable around here; a fresh air from the rest of the recurrent /pol/ topics we see every day

>simultaneously malnourished, fat, and with max heavy metal and microplastic scores
That's what supplements are for. You take vitamins to keep yourself nourished. You take NAC, magnesium, and other supplements to neutralize the heavy metals and microplastics. You drink 2 glasses of water before every meal to prevent yourself from overeating if you have to. You take protein supplements if your beans, cheese, eggs, and chicken aren't quite cutting it. This isn't rocket science. Just use common sense
>>
>>535536052
Soak dried pinto beans in a water, vinegar, salt solution for 18 hours, (this partially breaks down the skins so they are easily digestable and do bloat you and give you gas) rinse them clean, then mash the beans and fry them in butter. Make your own tortillas out of flour, salt, and water. Add whatever spices, protein, veggies you like. You won't find a cheaper, filling meal.
Water/vinegar/salt soaking works with any bean or lentils.

>>
>pasta, butter, parmesan, garlic (powder or minced), some creole seasoning

cheap as fuck, immensely filling, incredibly delicious and somehow never gets old. I made it for dinner yesterday and Im already craving more. add some chicken breast or thigh if you want more protein but I find thats not even necessary. alternate this dinner with:
>ground beef, tortillas, the same seasoning in the pasta, peppers and onions, shredded cheese
good as fuck homemade burritos, you can go crazier with the ingredients but only the tortillas, beef and seasoning is essential. cheap and delicous

for breakfast:
>eggs, toast, butter
alternate with:
>milk and your favorite cereal in bulk
once again, delicous and cheap as hell. yeah you can do cheaper than this but this meal plan actually tastes great while still being cheap and filling. I could live off nothing but these 4 meals forever.

this is absolutely true.

Never before has there been such a wealth of ingredients and also the freshness/quality of ingredients is generally really good. you + that with information about how to cook, even basic stuff, and a lot of people are cooking more eating better and living happier lives because of access to food. It's like, you can get all kinds of produce all year round, when previously it was a marvel just to get orange juice or berries, you can now get avocados or berries in January. You can get potatoes in the summertime. On top of that, you can get really bizarre ingredients from say, asia that you'd never seen before and make authentic, like, old school recipes and do it at home with a little knowledge and effort, desu it's really cool.
