>be German>forget to pay monthly car heating subscription>be driving to work>ice builds up on windshield>can't see where you are going >die in a pileup on the autobahn
How do you forget to pay a subscription? That's not how a subscription works.Shit thread.
>>535720961Boomer must still pay by cheque
>>535720961How do you forget how to go to the moon?>shit poster
It is not because of subscription. In your shit country you cannot idle ice car because you are bunch of retards so car manufacturers turn this option off even it was possible before (on some models for 20 years). So unless you have electric or hybrid that allows heating on battery, you lost preconditioning option. Last I heard toyota and lexus updated their app to remove preconditioning from petrol/diesel vehicles (you had to pay subscription to have that option too).
>>535720753Don't buy new cars.
buy an electric car, they saidit'll save the world they saidalways remember: you are the carbon they want to reduce
>>535722104Your lack of testosterone shows. Battery electric is far easier to airgap than combustion.
>be american>everything is beautiful and amazing>get shot>wake up>die in bed
>>535721552I heard that in some cold countries they leave their cars running constantly overnight to prevent freezing. Some cold place like siberia.

>>535722104>>535723021typical brainlet american, not understanding this isnt a matter of it being an electric car, so no gas, but there being a subscription in order to use thisstupid fatass american

It isn't a car, it is a transportation appliance.
>>535721961Or buy ex-police cars, that's my plan if my current one dies. No spy shit, physical key, easy access to spares
>>535720753Heated garage master race checking in.
>>535726883Does it not get cold in your state? You still need to put heat on your windshield as you drive
>>535726604>Or buy ex-police carsMaybe it's different in the US and A, but over here in europoorland that's a very bad idea. By the time these are auctioned off to the general public they usually have 300k+ kilometers on them and are 50% duct tape.
>>535720753Bite me, BMW.
>>535720753We need an open-source GNU/CAR system to save us from this exploitative software
>>535724446a lot of north American and Canadian refinery workers do this since they have access to cheap diesel. it would cost more in time and equipment to start the trucks again than it would to just idle all the time

>>535720961That's right. We don't do that in Germany. We renew our vehicle feature subscriptions on time.
