I dont really think people understand what war is about at the end of the day and what winning really means.IF the US would win in a day or an hour they could just nuke Iran pure and simple. Its not really that complicated.If they wanted to destroy everything without a nuke, they could since they have more then enough weapons and so on to do so.This war is not about "winning" but benifiting from it. It is not like the US is not making money of it. Blocking the strait has only made countries buy more oil from the US wich benifit them far more than the cost of the war. It also create chaos in the markets, making US corporations tons of money. It also regulate the middle east forcing the countries to redo everything that they have done, leaving US as a winner further down the road.The only loss that the US have had is sadly the soldiers that have died. They have lost some planes and some bases that was bombed, but beyond that, this war has not been costly compared to a lot of other thing. Also remember that Iran is about half the size of the US, so it is a big ass country.
