the sprinkler's stopped working randomly

>ATF joins investigation into fire after hydrants, sprinklers fail

>Investigators are looking into major safety equipment failures at the scene.

>Arriving firefighters found that the first hydrants they connected to lacked water pressure, despite the system passing inspection in January.

>Crews also reported that overhead sprinklers did not appear to be active when they arrived.

made a YUGE lingering high up cloud of smoke

normally a windy area, with windmills and shit

It was one distribution center serving Northern California primarily. The company has already began to move orders around to other facilities. A total of about 1 billion dollars in inventory was lost. A hiccup in supply chain that will put allocation constraints on several items for hospitals who use Medline as their primary vendor. As usual, OP is a faggot.

Almost looks deliberate but easy to blame on corporate corner cutting.
>sprinklers down
>no pressure in private hydrants
Typical corporate BS. Still wreaks of terrorism/5G-war.

In my experience working in a warehouse that has a corporate overlord, this type of corner cutting feels more middle management, than corporate. When corporate mandates "cost saving" it's usually broad policy aimed at reducing employee overhead or restructuring things in a systematic way.

This kind of cheapo shit, skimping on maintenance, is something a crooked warehouse manager would do. The warehouse manager is the bottleneck between the location staff and corporate, unless your company has some kind of reporting mechanism that lets you bypass middle management to blow the whistle to corporate. The place I work at now has this, but I've worked at others where the WH manager is basically a despot with his own little fiefdom. I could see some of those guys saying they did safety maintenance, signing off on the work orders, then pocketing the budget as a bonus to themselves.
