Why did millennials invent /pol/? How has it benefitted them?
When your locus of control is external, you are easily manipulated by outside forces. When your locus of control is internal, you're the only one beating yourself up. /pol/ repeatedly instills in the user's that they are not in control and their lives will not change even if they take action to improve them.

How has it benefitted them? I've been on 4chan since late 2006, early 2007. The knowledge I have obtained from reading posts, lurking the fuck moar, has given me a perspective on humanity that you can't find anywhere else FOR FREE unless you're in an alanon meeting or a college classroom. This site bypasses all class levels, races, sexes, all the categories society uses to divide us. Anonymous image boards are the great equalizer and much like a gun, this level of power must be used with much solemnity.
