I drove thru El Paso on I-10 once. Got stopped by a state trooper at 3am right at the entrance. Said my third break lights were out. Let me go with a warning. Weird fuckin reason to stop someone. Anyway I had to stop at a cheap ass motel. After 2 hours of sleep I was on my out of El Paso. While driving out of the city you can see shanty towns(?) of Juarez sprawling on surrounding hills. That's the closest I have come to visiting Mexico.
