I'm sure the uniparty is working as hard as it can to obstruct his agenda behind the scenes. It's the old MO used most often by conservatives: when something progressive is implemented, you obsessively obstruct it on every possible level and then use the results of your obstruction as "natural evidence" that it was never going to work. Our democracy is particularly amenable to this strategy precisely because it has so much endemic friction baked in. The natural state of our society is to continue doing what it has been doing -- inputs to maintain the status quo are amplified whereas inputs to disrupt it are fractionalized. The success or failure of Zohran in NYC might very well be the success or failure of this new socialist agenda. Can he succeed against the uniparty? We'll see.
