This terrifies the american.
>>
>>537967004
100% outdated and irrelevant.
>>
>>>/o/
Also America makes the best manual transmissions
>>
Driving a manual does not make you smart or superior.
>>537967084
It's fun.
>>
I drive a manual subaru lol, fuck off

You forgot to mention it also enrages them
just like AC units enrage and terrify europoors

Do you still ride one of those first generation bicycles with those giant front wheels too?
>>
>>537967084
Manual gives the best control and direct mechanical connection. The use of crutches or wheelchairs does not making walking irrelevant.
>>
>>537967004
every person that learned to drive in automatic transmission must be considered an aberration all together with microslopt auto updates and A.I spywares
>>
>>537967188
Mazda is pretty universally regarded as the best imo.
>>
>>537967203
if you are so scared of driving, just get an electric appliance and turn on autopilot and have it do it for you. cuckoldry is accepted in 2026 now.
>>
>>537967204
this a man.

AAAH
>>
>>537967204
I meant its irrelevant and outdated because no matter the brand or where in the world you live, manual gears will gradually disappear. Ofc its more fun and gives better control but manual days are, sadly, over. Even I europe the standard when getting a license is automatic. Manual lessons are only on request and cost extra.
>>
>>537967004
Yeah, back when I was in high school working as a chef at Wendy's I had to drive obsolete shitboxes that needed a new clutch every 70,000 miles. I'd be pretty terrified about fucking up my personal finances to the point of having to be that poor again.
Post pics of your air conditioner with timestamp.
>>
>>537967216
they have a special, half assed and disabled, license for if you only pass your test driving an automatic. even truck drivers can pass a test using only an automatic.
>>
>>537967004
>terrifies
Ask the average white american male how he feels about standard transmissions, and he will ask where it is and how much you want for it. We love manual.
>>
>>537967004
I’m glad I don’t have to drop the transmission or pay someone to replace the clutch anymore.
>>
>>537967004
I only drive automatics these days. I no longer care and just opt for the easiest option in every scenario.
>>537967204
>Manual gives the best control and direct mechanical connection
Who gives a fuck. You're just driving to the shops or work or whatever. All these manlet Fucking fantasist cucks who think they're F1 drivers kek.

I also want to add I drove manual cars for 20 years and only occasional automatic. I do appreciate automatic in stop and go traffic and also in mountainous terrain. It's just much more relaxed.

This and unironically. With recent models the difference in control only matters at the sportscar pilot level. Having fewer things to care about makes it safer and less streeful for everyday driving. Up to the early 21st century you could argue automatic cars consume more fuel because the transmission was less efficient, but the difference is negligible by now.
All the zoomers take their test with automatics and get it on first try instead of us retarded millenials that took four tests on average. Shitting on automatics is a driving school scam.

happens that is a open door. we both sadly know that eventually retardation will take over and nobody will know how to really drive anymore.

My last three cars have had eCVT transmissions. Nearly indestructible and will outlast any slopbox out there.

Jeep Rubicons are only manual, as of 2026 (unless you buy the electric cuckmobile version of it.) I drive an old 14 year old JGC, but am considering buying a new one now (I rented and tested the Rubicon and like it, though it was an automatic.) I would need to take a refresher course on stick shift because I haven't driven one since college. My sense is that there is an uptick in such interest: even though Zoomers are driving less, Gen Y is trying to get back to real driving. This is reflected in the overall interest (Gen Y and Zoomers) in bringing back analog technology.

Point is that there are Burgers here who are keeping manual driving alive, even if it has been discouraged.
>>
>>537967353
at least you'll always be able to buy a manual transmission sports car. kit cars make owning something sporty very affordable too.
>>
>>537967120
yes it does you mong, you get a better licence for it and have to get the cucked licence if you only learn to drive automatic

Manual transmission is similar to the coding retards that insist on doing everything in C or mess up with assembly while trashing on higher abstraction languages. Yes, modern compilers and memory allocation are better than your spaghetti code, and so is present day automatic transmission.
>>
>>537967669
its already here. that how the jeets moved into the trucking industry and ruined it

no you wouldn't. just drive it around for a bit and you'll be fine.

Some COBOL written in 1972, maintained by a tranny.
This represents a 1e-7 proportion of coding scenarios. This is like justifying manual transmission because of grand prix F1.

Most people I know drive an EV.
Automatic gearboxes are already supplanted.

Last time I was in Yurope I rented a Dacia. It had a tiny diesel engine, manual obviously. I rather enjoyed the ridiculously high gas mileage and how simple the little Romanian shitbox was. But coming back to America and getting into my massive fullsize sedan felt good. It's just a super comfortable all-day highway cruiser.
>>
>>537968493
Also mountainous roads were you have to stop frequently. Absolute fucking nightmare. I drove manual 20+ years. But even then it's a total disaster if you get stuck in stop and go traffic on a steep road.
>>
>>537967084
Fpbp.
Serously, what’s the point of it, imegine driving so happily and all of a sudden you have to remember to move your legs and arms because you went “a bit too fast ir slow”.

manual is significantly cheaper, to buy, to rent, to fix. simple as. that's by far the most important factor for most people especially if you're young and european. doesn't really make sense to splurge out $20,000 if you're not gonna drive the car literally every day. if you go on holiday, you pay 30$/day to rent a manual, vs 50$ / day for an automatic. that's an absolutely massive difference

also in places like the uk or cuba, 80% of the cars are manuals. you're not gonna be able to drive shit, you won't be able to borrow a car from a relative if you didn't pass your driving exam on a manual. i imagine the future is gonna have a lot more niche designer car brands where a couple dudes just weld classic-esque cars out of steel using some chinese metal cnc machines, and manual is a lot more fundamental and minimalist in that sense
>>
>>537967004
no it doesn't. Dominic Toretto is amaerican and he's the greatest shifter of all time
