Hello 4chan.

I'm making this post to share the situation of Tunisia.

Electricity cut for up to 11 hours on end. People with life support are dying, since most hospitals don't have emergency generators.
Water cut for hours, especially at night. Why is that? Sometimes it's just cutting to save resources, but also because water supply systems fail due to electricity cuts!
600 fires in 48 hours by pure temperature.

And it's not just basic life quality.
The president couped in 2021, and now it's a wasteland of sensorship, arbitrary arrests, policemen everywhere.
A dude from Nabeul posted on Facebook criticizing the president. He got the death penalty. Even though he got a presidential pardon, it's still staggering.

I went to take a test for my driver license yesterday. I was waiting when suddenly the AC shut down, lights went off: electricity cut.
Electricity cuts on even government facilities!
2 people passed out from heat!
That center was also for checking cars for driving validation. A worker was checking a car when suddenly the device holding it up shut down and almost crushed him (he's safe now).

You know Gabes's gorgeous beach? Well, no more. The chemical compound nearby made it toxic and killed the entire wild life. The ammonite released into the air usually suffocated school kids and blue collar workers because they moved more in open air.
But with the electricity crisis and no AC, people chilled on the rooftops.
Alot of hospitalizations happened because of the toxic releases inhaled easier from rooftops.
When protests broke out against the compound, IT filed a lawsuit against the protest organizers AND WON. You see how crazy is this???

I hope this post helps change something. Maybe it'll will spark Operation Tunisia 2.0.
I really wish for a revolution...
Tunisian Reddit already discussing this heavily, you can check it out (don't worry, its mostly english)
If anyone can help me with that, please reach out, I'm fully ready for the struggle.

The prophet Muhammad was gay. Go have gay man on man buttsex like your prophet did
>>
Holy fuck why would anyone care about Tunisia lmao?
>>
>>539484473
Maybe if you were better at inventing things, your Muslim shithole would have electricity.
>>
Nobody gives a shit
>>
>>539484541

First, he wasn't.

But let's assume he was. What does that have to do with anything? Who said I'm Muslim at all? Why do you have to make everything about Islam just because the baker is from a muslim country? Is it because of your fragile ego? or is it because you think muslim country= bad country?

Let me tell you. Yes, Tunisia is a Muslim country, but its very secular. Go look up the #1 pornstar in the world. Tunisian. Not that im proud of it, just gives to show how secular Tunisia is.

We have a church that is probably bigger that the 3 closest churches to you combined. We have a good amount of christians, atheists, agnostics, and any religion you could think off (but not jews fortunately)

Stop with your American imperialism and defaultism. Came to receive support and advice, describing a state threatening situation I'm currently living, and there you are dismissing it all just because im from a muslim country.

its only in the city of gabes, not all tunisia.

people in gabes generally can breathe, but there's high risk of sudden suffocation, and an even bigger risk of slow intoxication

>>
>>539485885
I hear you fren. You guys got drug into the shit from Libya
I'm sorry for the fucked up politics.
>>
Thank you for sharing tunisia bro. Is the electrical outages simply a resource issue? I don't know shit about tunisia aside from it's location and capital so I just assumed that what you described was always the case because I've heard similar stories from other African nations.
Is there anything else you want dumb burgers like me to know about your country?
>>
>>539484473
so, anyway OP, how do you feel about China and the CCP?
>>
>>539486487
thx for the support brother.

yeah, libyan contraband is an issue too, but its not a big one. you know what's an actual issue here? the drugs that come via contraband, if they catch you on a single joint, its 39 years in prison. like. wtf.

i know drugs are no good, but not 30 years???
>>
>>539486665
that's what it says in your holy book so that's what u get, deal with it and pray harder

remember: u prayed for it. nobody but allan in the sky will ever help u out

>>539486639
no! electricity was normally very smooth and actually kinda cheap too.

as of what's the problem, its 3 things:

1. resources (as you said): we usually important algerian gaz to make electricity, but algeria lowered the export rate because of a reason whose the same as the 2nd reason
2. high demand: in summer, demand spikes because of overusing AC, which tires the grod which in turn takes to reason number 3
3. the grid: in 4 words: old, unmaintained, expensive, heat.

you may get baffled by the heat part, but there's no grid (let alone old) that functions normally in 45 degrees (113 F)

the current president was actually very appealing:
he wasnt of any party, he talked really fluently, was a law teacher in university and at the same ti.e political analyzer in varioustv outlets. but the big reason he wo was his opponent: nabil karoui, which was hated for various reasons, resulting in the current president automatically gaining extra votes

what speculate is that things are towards a good future. the 2011 revolution lacked post-revolt plans, which i see alot of redditors actually discussing today, and thats why i think this revolution is gonna succeed even in long term

I've been there 2 years ago, in Tunis and Sousse, the situation seems pretty grim, trash literally everywhere, decaying infrastructure, the people is actually chill med type of people, no petty crime as far as I saw and I stayed in Tunis Medina for 3 nights and walked around late at night and didn't see anything bad going on. But politically and economically speaking it's fucked
>>
>>539484473
Sorry to hear about that OP, that sounds really tough. Sometimes I take for granted living in a first world country, and forget the struggles so many people in the world face. I hope things get better for Tunisia eventually. That applies to all poor and struggling countries as well.

funny. Unpopularity contests are how we do elections now too.

Yeah pretty much, I mean first World new world though, so basically Cali and Australia
>>
>>539484473
Things will never change until the intelligence agencies, underground military-industrial-complex lairs and defense contractor facilities are stormed and the glowniggers and parasites who work there are executed and the data they collect is leaked to the public so that the rest of these government assets, zogbots, mercenaries, glorified jannies and authority figures can be hunted down and exterminated.
>>

> what speculate is that things are towards a good future. the 2011 revolution lacked post-revolt plans, which i see alot of redditors actually discussing today, and thats why i think this revolution is gonna succeed even in long term
What would your ideal system be post revolution then? Communism? Liberal democracy? Fascism? Would you be prepared to accept an authoritarian government as king as it provided you with a functioning society and high standard of living, such as Libya under Gaddafi?
>>
I dismissed you originally bcs it’s fun but I see you’re trying to engage in good faith so I’ll give you my take. What’s happening in Tunisia is solely and exclusively the doing of Tunisians. Keep that in mind and don’t ever forget it. You’re in the predicament because of the various shortcomings of the people inhabiting the land. It’s not American imperialism that’s fucking with your power grid, it’s not the European colonialism that interfered with your hospital’s ability to invest in backup generators. It’s no one ‘s fault that your ruling class is abusing and tormenting Tunisians. It’s all your fault. Good luck I guess. But you can’t escape your genetics, such as they are
