Now we're 1hr 30m after posting and sitting at 48 replies. The captcha is unironically a big part of it. It definitely wasn't worth the spam reduction, especially when this site was seeing tough competition from X. The user experience of the captcha is also awful on mobile devices, where most of the internet happens nowadays.
