Cooking at home is still way cheaper than eating out for the same quality.

If you want to compare to the microscopic burger patties you get on the mcdonalds value menu, it's still cheaper to cook at home because you barely need any beef to replicate it.

Its $6/lb at costco for fresh ground beef(best price in america.) Its $7/lb at walmart. That means 4 quarter lb burgers would cost at minimum $6. Then you need buns, cheese, ketchup, onions and if your made of money lettuce.

Every meal in america even if made from home if it contains beef cost $4-8. 3 meals a da is at least $15 x 30 = $450 a month on food if you want to regularly consume beef in america. If you switch to pork and chicken you can probably cut that down to $250 a month. Beef is just expensive now. Covid fucked it all up.

This guy fails at life then. I buy 6 lbs of ground beef from the local butcher at a little over $5 a pound and make about 2 dozen patties out of them and freeze them. That's a little over $1 a burger. These dumb rednecks still buying goyslop from McD's in a combo meal for $15 or grocery store pre-packaged clorinated red-dyed fake beef for $10 a ound are clueless.

Grocery prices haven't affected me since I still spend about 160 for a 3 week haul of food. That's about one day of 8 hour work for me, so it's not an issue.

FYI: I'm not a MAGAt faggot, I'm just tired of rednecks bitching about food prices when they don't know how to shop.

Let's say I was inclined to feed my family cheeseburgers and French fries for dinner tonight (I'm not).

I could go to McDonald's, where a quarter pounder meal for me and my wife would be $11.30 apiece. Then my four kids want cheeseburger happy meals. $6.00 apiece.

That's $46.60 before tax. The meal components are 1/4lb patties, cheese slices, buns, onion, pickles, apple slices for the kids, and French fries. We don't drink soda but it's part of a meal so let's also say six sodas

5lbs of ground beef at my local grocery store: $8.25

A pack of buns (Martin's potato rolls, 8 pack): $3.00

An onion: $0.75

Jar of sliced pickles: $2.70

Pack of Kraft singles: $4.00

Bag of frozen French fries: $4.00

Pack of coke cans: $5.50

$28.20 to feed my family of 6 vs. $46.60 still cheaper to eat meals at home. That particular one is pricey. You can make bulk meals for a family for much cheaper than that. Just making spaghetti for example:

1lb of ground beef for $5.50
A pack of noodles for $2.00
A jar of sauce for $2.50

Feed a family for under $10.00, under 15 of you include some garlic bread and a bagged salad.

Quarter pound is 110gr so for €5 I can make 4 patties, €1,25 per patty
Buns are €2 for a 4-pack so we're up to €1,75.
The veggies, that'll be a cabbage, some tomatoes, some onions, and some mayo let's add that here too while we're at it.
That might be another €0,50 per burger all put together, so €2,25 for 1 quarterpounder.
That's using supermarket meat too.
I'm sure you can get it cheaper at the Turk, and higher quality too.
Best quality is from a parallel-society market (eerlijk eten) but you're paying the same price as at the Albert Heijn.

you're paying more for a shittier cut at the restaurant, while at the store you are probably buying something that would cost $30-40 at the restaurant. I typically get 2 high quality steaks (inch thick), for about $28-34 and make better steaks than 90% of restaurants (that would charge $60-70 for what I make). People really overpay at restaurants nowadays and get shittier dishes than if they cooked at home, and then (in the US), waitresses that don't do shit get mad when you don't tip them.

I buy like 5lbs of sushi rice, I think it's like $5. It makes like 50 roles idk, a lot. Then you buy those seaweeds squares that you roll up. Idk the cost, I bought one pack and it has like 50 in it. I have a rice cooker, so I just put a cup in and the machine does the rest. Then I mix up like, 2 TB rice vinager, 1 TB sugar, a bit of salt (or just use seasoned Rice vinager, I use unseasoned because I put a dash of it in my guacamole) and put that into the rice when it's done cooking, let it sit a bit. Then you add whatever filling you can afford or what your super markets have. Shrimp, Crab/imitation crab, whatever veggies you want. Sometimes I just take a can of tuna, either normal or Korean, add some siracha to it, mayo. Or if you have a nice seafood place, maybe you can get better fish to use. Then just spread the rice on the seaweed, add your toppings, roll it up. You can make different toppings with mayo or whatever, just look it up. It's always like, mayo, or onions sauce and sugar.

In fairness my sushi game is pretty white trash. My mexican is better, I slice up cheap cuts of steak on a meat slicer, add to a hot pan, add onion and cilantro and lime, amazing. Chicken tacos are super easy, just buy chicken thighs. Quesadillas are easy, look up Taco Bell 90's queso sauce recipe, add that to the quesadilla, delicious. Or just make it authentic any which way you like, it's all cheap. All mexican salsa's are cheap. Just buy dry peppers that last a year and cost $3 dollars. All you need is salt, water, the pepper. Of course you can do anything with salsa, I'm just saying it's super cheap and easy. Burgers I make smash burgers that are basically better than 5 guys. I make homemade bread with a bread machine. Restaurant quality bread for extremely cheap.

Cooking is a skillset that you can grind and get better at, fren. Sides are as easy as buying small potatoes and asparagus, washing them, and wrapping them in tin foil with some butter, salt, pepper, olive oil, and cooking them at 350-300 F(176-204 C) for about 30-40 min while you cook your steaks. It should be obvious, but wrap the potatoes and asparagus in different aluminum packets.

If I were you, and broke, I'd live on potatoes, eggs, ground beef, chicken thighs. Having a rice cooker and bread maker also opens a lot of doors to cheap food, after the initial purchase.

I can make Bulgogi in like 10 minutes for like $4 a serving. Just need steak, slice it thin, make the sauce (which I have all the needed supplies on hand, a typical person probably wouldn't, but, they work in like every asian dish), then some onions and carrots. Rice cooker makes the rice.

I'm thinking to quit my job to work for myself. So I invested some money and thought into how to each cheap. Also when I was fasting I spent like 1K on kitchen supplies. If you fast long enough, like 10+ days, I recommend not looking at recipes or amazon if you don't have money. Cause you're gonna morph into another human who highly values kitchen equipment.

I’m 26, still living at home because I can’t even afford rent on my slave wage job. My parents remind me every day how pathetic that is, like I don’t already wake up every morning with a pit in my stomach. “Work harder,” they say. “Get more hours.” As if I’m not already grinding 10-hour shifts like a dog just to barely afford gas and instant noodles. Like slaving away harder is suddenly going to magically spawn affordable housing or a livable wage. Delusional.

And then there’s Pan Piano. This woman has life handed to her on a velvet platter because she was born with tits and figured out how to weaponize them. That’s it. That’s literally it. She puts on a sexy Nezuko cosplay, half her chest hanging out, sits at a piano, barely moves her hands, and somehow that’s worth millions. No speaking, no charisma, no effort beyond squeezing into a costume and pressing a few keys.

She doesn’t even have to engage with people. Just films a cleavage shot with some anime tune playing and the simps line up to throw money at her like she’s a goddess. Meanwhile, I’m treated like human garbage by customers, my boss, and my own family—and what do I get in return? Less than nothing. A life that’s going nowhere. My only “luxury” is sleeping in a bedroom I haven’t redecorated since middle school.

Why does she get everything for doing nothing? Why is she celebrated for just existing while I’m told I’m not trying hard enough, not doing enough, not being enough?

I’m so bitter I can taste it. I don’t even hate her because she’s successful. I hate that she gets to coast while people like me are treated like burdens for simply surviving.

This world rewards surface-level bullshit and punishes effort unless you’re already pretty or connected. There’s no justice, no fairness. Just Pan Piano living in luxury for shaking her tits in cosplay while I rot under fluorescent lights for crumbs and get told “you just need to work harder.”

Fuck.

You pick your battles. Indian in particular is kind of a bitch to just make a single meal. Other Asian cuisine shares a lot of ingredients. Mirin, oy sauce, dark oy sauce, honey/sugar, rice vinegar, duck sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce. That makes like 8000 different things.

Indian might be similar in that you can make a lot with the same spices, but with Asian food you can switch between Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese. I've not jumped into Indian food as a result, I just want butter chicken but it's a bitch to make.

Thats interesting. I just came up with the idea to eat canned mackerel with rice, on a seaweed wrapper, with some kind of korean bean paste. Different, but semi similar. And I often have it with Kimchi, so similar to sauerkraut. Not saying it's amazing I discovered fish and rice, just saying it's interesting I just started doing it, and then see this fairly similar concept. Tastes great with fresh warm rice.

No one ever factors in the cost of electricity and water and opportunity cost when they say they can do things for cheaper. Does your chest freezer just run itself? Does your time have no value? If you make 20 dollars an hour and it takes you half an hour to make burgers, didn't you really just spend $10 of labor to make them?

I know this probably won't help, but adopting a stoic approach to this situation could honestly help you. Worrying about the things that are unfair in your life or out of your grasp won't help you progress beyond this state into one which is more bearable. You also have a handful of options available to you, but utilizing the best ones you have will require risk and difficulty, but it's also the only way you ever escape your current fate.

Slaving away at a wage slave job is no way to progress. You can put in as many hours as you want, you will never be able to afford the things mentioned. You won't have housing. You won't live comfortably. Boomer parents will advise you that you must fall into this paradigm. Just work harder, just get more shifts, just find a better different job working as a cog in the machine. You and I both know that's a relic from a time long past.

I don't know you and I don't know any of your skill sets, but there has to be something that you can do by yourself in order to make money. I don't really care what it is, you could be some guy who does mobile car detailing, you could be someone who has a knack for things like HVAC repair and could easily begin doing that solo. You could be someone who has experience landscaping mowing lawns doing snow removal that sort of work. Maybe you have some computer skills and can use that to your advantage in some way. The bottom line from my perspective is that you're not going to succeed waiting around for somebody to hand you a job that gives you everything you want. This entire system exists to keep people like you in those shitty jobs forever and to leave you constantly wanting for money. If you're going to work your fucking ass off anyway, why wouldn't you do it in service of a business that you own outright and control yourself? It doesn't take a large loan to start a lot of these businesses, and it will be a grind for a while, but if you're not retarded you can make it. Just saying.

I mean the rice and bread run when not eating. Burgers take 10 min, tacos take 10 min, rice and fish take 10 min, sushi takes 10 min. I mean, whatever, somewhere between 10-15. I literally turn the cast iron on, throw on the sausage, then I turn the griddle on, add ghee/butter. I use ghee because it can stay room temp for a month and still be safe, and it tastes good. Then I add eggs. Then I stir the pork. Then I add bread to the toaster. Flip the eggs. Take the eggs off, get the bread, take the sausage. It's extremely fast. There is no clean up, you just scrape the extra bits off the griddle, and you rinse the cast iron whenever. It takes 30 seconds for each.

Also I changed my flag one day for fun, and forgot how to change it back. Obviously I'm American.

What the make it at home crowd also fails to understand is that the majority of the 18-35 crowd is single. We were never supposed to work 60-80 hours a week and then come home to do all of our housechores ourselves. Women stayed at home and men worked. So yeah, a lot of young professionals eat out more than they should because it's one of the few ways they can steal some time back for themselves. The shit dating market thanks to feminism has contributed to the quality of life crisis as well. Being able to afford to eat out is at least one thing people are able to do to exercise some agency and pretend that they have more control over their situation than they do. Sitting and making your slop baloney sandwich at home just conjures Kevin Oleary's laughing face in their head as well as every other kike laughing that the goyim can't even afford simple comforts anymore.

I don't understand the bigotry for AI research. It's no different than if a person went to the library and took out a book on the subject and read it and then passed that information on in some useful form. There is skill in collecting the right information and AI is just a tool for making information collection for efficient. Going to a library to fetch a book takes hours and burns gas, but the AI can fetch my answers near-instantly. And nobody has ever felt the need to credit the encyclopedia britanica after researching some facts.

So making a burger meal from scratch will be about $4-5 for a fast food equivalent made with entry level brands. This assumes no spoilage and having spices on hand. Honestly it's kind of shit considering the 15-30mins of labor and gas/electric involved, but it will taste a lot better.

I mostly cook at home. Not for financial reasons, I make $175k/year and work 40 hrs a week, so I can afford to eat readymade goyslop every meal if I want to.

Its mostly true that nowadays, ingredients cost almost the same as cooking at home, unless you're looking for a small army. The cooking at home equation only makes financial sense if you're looking for 4+ people. Its mathematically similar to hotels vs. Airbnb. If you're staying alone or with one other person, an Airbnb is worse than a hotel between all the added fees. But if you're staying with 4+ people, a house with multiple bedrooms and a kitchen is way cheaper to rent than multiple hotel rooms, even after fees.

I mostly just cook because I really enjoy it and I'm nearly Michelin-star skill level. I have my wife and 2 boys, both of whom are younger than 7, to feed.

A double-double at In n Out is $6, so I can feed everyone for under $25 when I go there. The boys cant finish an entire burger in their own, so they split it and eat fries.
>>
a pack of buns is 8 buns a pound of meat you can press thin a bulb of onion can be sliced enough to fit for all 8 or even chop dice it and a tomato can be cut thin for all 8
It is entirely possible to make 8 burgers for about 20 bucks 30 bucks if you want fries assuming you want ready made fries or maybe cheaper if you want to just buy a sack of potatoes and oil
I think you would have to skip out on the cheese though

Me and my wife buy boxes of Tyson chicken cordon bleu, and canned veggies. 10 boxes is $40, then 15 cans of cream corn, peas, carrots, is less than $15 so $65 for dinner M-F so $13 a day or $6.50 each, but the cans usually arent consumed in one dinner so they can stretch the month. Id just need to replace the chicken cordon bleu and I could drop numbers significantly, but we enjoy them.

>this is what demoralization shills actually believe

Now tell me about the diet of an average third worlder.

Eating steak 2 or 3 times a week instead of everyday is not the end of the world, you shouldnt be eating that much red meat in the first place. We are blessed to live here in America. If you were in some third world BRICS shithole youd live on fucking rice supplemented with vitamins and minerals, and maybe beans if your lucky. Thats the shit they eat living africa, the middle east, eastern europe, latin america, etc.

Instead of whinning like some woke faggot, you should be happy with what you have, and you should be prepared to work harder if your not. You have no o e to blame but yourself.

You don't use a whole jar of mayo on a burger.
Buying a product and breaking down the amount used into individual portions is completely acceptable when pricing an item.

Mayo is egg whites, some oil, salt, and lemon juice in a jar then emulsified. I make about 2 cups of mayo when I need it. It takes around 3 minutes and cost about $.20. It keeps for a week plus its MILES better than anything you can buy.

The opportunity cost of buying everything fresh for insane prices supersedes whatever cost planning ahead like a white man ever will. I have a half cow sitting in my freezer that cost $6.45/lb butchered, bagged, and frozen. I pay less for ribeye steak than you do for a lb of stepped on plastic riddled walmart shit ground "beef". In 1 year it pays for itself. Fuck, I smoked a 5 year old brisket and it was better than whatever you get at a smokehouse for $50/lb.
If you can't into buying bulk and planning ahead you're ngmi.

Nothing. But you are flushing them out by drinking purified wafer. Especially if youre sweating a lot on a hot day or when doing something physical. Most people get too little magnesium for instance from their die already and that is worsened if you drink purified water.
Your body has to use stored minerals to balance the electrolytes on your blood every time you drink purified water.
That being said you know your body better than i do.

Growing up, they made us play with this during class for a half hour once a week doing mock McDonald’s drive through interactions preparing us to work in fast food. Sometimes the teacher would stand behind us to evaluate how well we understood the process. And occasionally they would bring in real McDonald’s emloyees to train us using the McDonald’s hotwheels play sets.

>>
>>543090502
sixteen to be exact
>>
>>543081285

Did the math for the following at my local Walmart:

> 6 Brioche buns: $4.97
> 2 lbs 85/15 grass-fed beef: $14.94
> 24 slices deluxe American cheese: $3.97
> 10 oz thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon: $5.97
> 2 lbs seasoned fries: $2.97
> Total: $32.82 (no sales tax here)
> Cost per 1/3 lb burger and side of fries: $5.47

Most people will already have ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. And any other toppings, like onions, tomatoes, pickles, etc. might also be something you already have, and most last well beyond one meal. Depending on what you put on the basic bacon cheese burger and fries I just built above, you're maybe looking at $6 per meal max for a decent burger. I could build much cheaper burgers, but these would be a reasonable replication of a decent burger out at a restaurant you'd pay $16 for plus tip. It is dramatically cheaper to make it at home without any real loss in quality. If I were to use the cheapest ingredients without it being total dogshit, I can get it under $4.50 per plate (plus condiments) for a 1/3rd pound burger and a 1/3rd lb of fries on a plate for the same ingredients. Skip the bacon and it gets even cheaper. A family of 4 just ate a pile of fries and 1-2 bacon cheeseburgers each for less than the cost of a cup of fries at Five Guys.

I know "just make it at home loser!" is just Boomer-speak for "just that everything is getting shittier and more expensive so that I can retire in luxury!", but is also true that you can produce similar quality meals at home, even today, for a substantial savings over going out to eat. If you are motivated to save money without sacrificing quality (or even improving it), you really can eat very well at home.
>>
>>543090537
Correct. I was being hyperbolic but the meat is good for as long as I need it to be. I found that brisket under some newer stuff and smoked it just for the hell of it. It turned out amazing and was nearly 5 years old. Why? Because it was hang dried, not injected with water to add weight, vacuum sealed, and kept sub-zero. Its very difficult for moisture to exist in a subzero environment.

You don't. When you could make more money with your time than setting up a hydroponic garden and milling your own wheat, you can just buy those things at the store. That's why division of labor became a thing. No one in human society has ever been expected to do everything themselves. That's why butchers and millers and farmers exist.

You're talking about opportunity costs, idiot. If you're poor than the opportunity cost of having a garden GOES DOWN. If you're poor the opportunity cost of buying food cheaper in bulk GOES DOWN.

I like how most americans are doing the math on Hamburgers. A burger in a restaurant is like 15 with a tip. It's obviously easy to beat that. But regardless, you can make food other than hamburgers, funny how everyone obsesses over a burger. You can make a chicken chorizzo burritos. 1 chicken thigh, seasoned etc, black beans, rice, maybe some cheese. Chorizo can be pork sausage mixed with a taco seasoning packet or something, or you could actually make chorizo but that might be a lot to ask. Anyway, each burrito will cost like $3.50, and will be a massive burrito.
