The great thing about AI is that it feels a lot like the early days of the internet, when people were dismissing it as no big deal. Except AI could be exponentially more transformative. It’s honestly kind of exciting watching all the people brushing it off as a gimmick, because they have no idea just how wrong they’re going to be. Humanity hit the jackpot with AI and the only downside is that you wont be around to really appreciate it, but dont worry you have the chance of seeing something much greater, the literal first chapters of AI and how fast things will be changing in the next 5 to 10 years.

Everything in life has consequences and I think AI will for sure have some, like the stuff you mentioned. Atrophy is a real thing and if you dont use it you lose it. However, I think it will take humanity to a higher level of intellect where humanity will be the one who benefits from it and I believe there will be a time of renaissance again. They are already talking about solving long standing math problems and using RMNA and AI to treat cancers, and we are just getting started. As dumb as Trump is, he is right not to stop the advancement of AI, I dont think thy are doing enough honestly.
