>From 2023, Russian courts imposed increasingly large fines on Google, eventually reaching a record high of US$20 decillion in 2024. Russia accused the company of refusing to restore pro-Kremlin accounts and of spreading what they described as “false information” about the war in Ukraine.

>In mid-2024, RU users started experiencing a significant slowdown in video loading speeds from 40% to 70%. A. Khinshtein, head of the State Duma's Committee on Information Policy, announced on Telegram that the "degradation" of YT speeds is planned and on purpose, he also encouraged people to comply with RU policy on platform.[28][29] But later he switched to blame the slowdown on Google's failure to invest in RU infrastructure, such as its local cache servers.[30]

>On Feb 12, 2026, Roskomnadzor imposed a full nationwide block on the platform, making YouTube inaccessible in Russia without the use of a VPN. The decision to block YouTube marked the culmination of a years-long deterioration in relations between the platform and the Russian state following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[25]

>i downloaded alot of vpns on my iphone but none of them worked sadly so i was wondering if theres a vpn that still works here so i could use apps like instagram and twitter and youtube, i need to contact my friends somehow
>General purpose VPNs don't work in Russia. You need a VPN with Xray protocol that specializes in bypassing censorship. AmneziaVPN with XRay protocol works best for me.

>VPNs are constantly banned. Russians are in constant search for new. Or you can set your own VPN server
>I use the same VPN as before 2022 — Adguard VPN. Sometimes it drops out, but they fix it pretty quickly. I have a personal one set up too, but 99% of the time the paid Adguard solves the problem.
look at all these hoops rusniggers have to go through just to be able to use the rotten West's services kek

Russia started clamping down on VPNs real hard since April of this year
Soon enough they'll clamp down on DPI bypass software too.
The State establishing a register of all internet routers and installing backdoors in them is one option. Back in the good ol' Soviet days, the State would keep a track on all the typewriters in the country

You spam about your war 24/7 and how you’ve finally won for the last 7 years. It’s been nonstop since you started the war in 2004. I remember you made up crucified Russian to cry about once
