https://ufile.io/f8c8guc6I used claude to create this little web app that removes all the extraneous information from the text to speech input. So it won't read every Post number user ID etc. I pretty much only use this forum on 4chan and thought other people might want to enjoy being able to listen to the light-hearted discussion here while they clean toilets like I do. It works great. Everything that it cleans out can be toggled if you want. The built-in Android text-to-speech is garbage. I used fdroid to install the marmalade text to speech engine. It's a lot better and will continue to play in the background if your phone is locked to save battery and stuff. Hopefully someone enjoys! I couldn't find anything like this on the internet and I think it's great because it allows me to turn the banter between you anonymous retards into an audiobook essentially. Now I can enjoy the discussions without my eyeballs. I hope everyone is doing okay out there. The world is crazy and it's going to get crazy here so hang on to your tits. Bye-bye now
>>544070960You could have some fun changing accents based on the flag. You know, like giving meme flags a heeb accent and canada flags indian accent.
>>544071542lol this
>>544070960Cool idea
>>544070960You can just ask Grok to read threads out loud to you.I'm not sure about other AI tools. I think Gemini and Claude are not allowed to access 4chanI just asked Grok to read this thread in an Australian accent and it was hilariously bad
how did you prompt claude to do this?
>>544071542If I had to listen to an entire 100 post thread in the voice of an Indian I'd probably kill myself. But I will say I have chosen a Chinese man accent because it just makes everything funnier for some reason. Try it out. Marmalade has a bunch of good chink, japanese, etc accents. Even a few Indian ones if you're psychotic or a masochist. I don't know how you'd implement changing them for each post. You'd have to have more country dialects or accents and a way for the web app to interface with the text to speech shit which is way beyond my pay grade, which is zero because I'm a retard. Yeah I tried to find some sort of little utility on the internet that would clean up all the bullshit junk texts from image board threads and I couldn't find Jack so I told the AI to do it and it did a good job actually. Kind of amazing. I just heard about the analog programs for Photoshop et al. Pretty sick idea, using AI to reverse engineer all these overpriced software solutions. If you have a wacky idea for a program or app you should try using Claude or something to make it happen. I couldn't believe how well it worked with very little prompting. Just set the rules and it makes whatever you want. Kind of incredible honestly
I thought about doing that too. Good idea just telling Claude to do it for you. /tv/ is one of the funniest boards.
>>544072013Well, first I told it I wanted to make an Android app. It gives you a few options. In this case, something that just ran in a web page would work for what I wanted to do. I think it uses JavaScript, I'm not even sure lel. Based on what you need the program to do, you'll get an idea of what level of development complexity Claude needs. Then you just tell it what you want, give it some parameters and rules, and it does it. It'll spit out something you can run, like program within a web page in this case. Then you test it out and tweak it by saying in playing English what you want it to change or implement. It makes the change and spits out the newest iteration, you try it out and keep tweaking until you're happy. Just talk to it. Tell it what you want and answer its questions. It's as simple as that really. This is a new paradigm and enables any fucking idiot to make stuff
>>544070960cool that "you" "made" something and all, but why go through all the trouble for stupid chan threads?why not read books instead or actual interesting subjectswhat i like to do is get a bunch of source material like PDFS, articles, chat transcripts, video transcripts, etc about something i'm interested in and then go to notebook.google.comand have it make audio summaries of the material to listen to and it pumps out a superbly entertaining back and fourth podcast style conversation
>>544072277That would be a good idea. But this isn't the only thing I listen to of course. By the way, I noticed a couple of minor issues and additional data that needed to be filtered out, so I updated the app a couple times. Some repeating labels and unnecessary information at the top and the advertise on 4chan text and some other crap at the bottom. Here's a link to the updated file if you guys want it https://ufile.io/xsa7nydw
>>544072277Oh and a couple more things. You ask why go through all the trouble? The thing is... It wasn't any trouble. Because Claude did all the work, I didn't do shit. If you have some links to some information that would be more worthwhile to listen to, I'd be happy to accept anything you'd recommend!
