Has anybody noticed that none of the Western "First-World" governments represent their people?Nobody wants immigration. Nobody wants open borders.Nobody wants DEI.Nobody wants electric cars.Nobody wants property tax.Nobody wants all the shit they put in our food.Nobody wants the drinking age at such a ridiculously high age.Nobody asked the people if they wanted any of these things, they just do it. And nobody likes it. And nobody can do anything about it, because voting does not change anything. Every politician lies, and we accept that. We know they lie, they know we know they are lying, but we vote anyway. And they do what they want. And then we pretend if we had only voted for the "other side" things would be different. We tell ourselves, and we tell others, that we live in a democracy, but nothing about it is democratic. We do not have representation. So why do we pay taxes? Why do we vote? Do we expect anything to change if we do nothing? Or do we just accept the fact that nothing will change, and escape reality with prescription and illegal drugs, because we do not have the time and energy to change things. We have to go to work. We have to make dinner. We have to do dishes. We have to go to bed.
>>544593043>So why do we pay taxes? Why do we vote? You’re assuming anyone on 4chan makes enough every year to even file taxes, kek. This site is the closest you’re gonna get to people psychologically boycotting the system. Voting exists exactly for the reasons you described, to make people feel like they have a choice in a world where they irrefutably don’t. So they can continue living the hollow American dream they grew up hearing from their parents and their parents before in exchange for the very small return of not becoming schizophrenic or a social outcast.
We have to make the government more decentralized. That's it. The people in government are out of touch with the people.

>>544593428>Isn't this what the Civil War was about, states rights?Yes, And the bad guys won
>>544593043In "democracy", the cattle are given a choice of tyrant to placate them. We live in the most extreme form of tyranny ever, the government steals over half our income, tries to track our every move, the list of laws grows ever longer day by day

>>544593295How the fuck is making the government "more decentralized" going to stop lobbyists from legally bribing politicians, and jews from hosting all-you-can-rape parties on pedo islands?
