>>15099640Notes>This was the first month of Marigold fully running and it provided some incredible numbers. Beyond the hype for their first event, they managed to handily outdraw TJPW in the monthly sales and also beat Stardom in key markets like Korakuen, Nagoya, Osaka. We'll see what happens after their show at Sumo Hall, but so far it seems Marigold is a promotion to watch in the upcoming months.>Dominion sold marginally better than last year, which doesn't say many good things about Moxley's star power in Japan but it does show El Desperado is definitely one of the main draws in the company. It wasn't an incredible number compared to New Japan's best years, but this is pretty much New Japan's ceiling outside WK right now.>As seen month after month in the reviews, it seems Dragon Gate, All Japan and DDT are the biggest winners this year, while Stardom is the promotion that fell the hardest. Meanwhile, New Japan continues their growth but at a much slower pace, exactly the same as they did last year.>It's worth mentioning in the year to year comparison that Noah had a massive boost in attendance last year thanks to Keiji Mutoh's retirement tour. Their attendance numbers this year compared to last year after Mutoh's retirement are actually better, so the actual number isn't as terrible as a 50% drop may seem on paper. There are no excuses for the drop in attendance in other companies though.
>>15099629>Noah (51): 35441 (-50%)the biggest of keks

>>15099754imagine how little Stardom & TJPW draws
>>15099629>>NJPW: 16548FEEL THE POWER
>>15099754This nigga seethin
>>15099796>STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom (Maika vs Momo Watanabe): 2735 fans
>TJPW is downGee, maybe filling cards up with so many shitty foreigners to challenge for your belts is a bad idea.
>>15099829Down over 2000 from last year
>>Stardom (58): 36032 (-27%)Roru
>>15099754>985
>>15099629>>NJPW: 16,548>>Noah: 6,171>>Stardom: 5,846>>Marigold: 4,156WWE LOST HAHA
>>15099796Evidently, not low enough to fake their attendance
>>15099754They don't even have tag belts yet since Rossy probably can't afford them. Guessing it's made up numbers based on attendance pics and running on a shoestring budget. Maybe Io keeps them going into the autumn
>>15099629>>TJPW: 1784I said whats cooler than being cool? ICE COLD
>>15099983The number they released for the Mirai homecoming show was genuinely hilarious
CyberFight must love losing money
How tf is Dragon Gate still holding on. Haven't followed them in years.
>>15100013Dragon Gate's touring schedule is crazy, they'll do an insane number of shows a good number of them small, sometimes they'll do two shows in one day, and day show and an evening show so they get a most out of the arena as they can without having to tear down the ring and set it back up. They also tour cities no other Japanese promotion bother going to so they get some dedicated fans who's first and only live wrestling experience is Dragon Gate.Their fans are somewhat unique as they don't seem to consumer any other wrestling than Dragon Gate, hence why DG can be one of the bigger promotions in terms of fans, but in wrestling magazine popularity polls their wrestlers are always ranked near the bottom in terms of popularity. They also market their wrestlers to their fujoshi audience in somewhat similar style like how Stardom markets their wrestlers to the salarymen audience.
>>15099870it isn't down. their number omits the 2 america shows they did
>>15099629>Gleat: 1819>BJW: 1815imagine almost getting outdrawn by BJW
>>15099912It looks like it could be. There roughly a hundred just in top rows.
>>15099629Marigold's and Rossy-tenured-Stardom's attendance numbers are faked
>>15099629>STARDOM The Conversion (Maika vs Xena): 1654 fans
>>15100013They have a unique audience of gay dudes and female coomers. They're also, alongside Marigold, the only notable promotion, that still continues the age old japanese tradition of announcing hilariously inflated attendance numbers.
>>15099629>Biggest shows in JuneSSPW Strong Style Pro-Wrestling Vol. 2920.06.2024Korakuen Hall1.818Fake as shit but if Marigold's fake numbers are accepted then this should be as well
>>15101129>>15099754kek this slopdom troon has been having a melty for 3 hours!
3 rows of chairs around the ring.couple fans in the bleachers676 people
Looks like I need to watch more Dragongate
>>15101491Someone wants to correct the average attendance for TJPW being up by 2%, not - 2%.
>>15099629Interesting how quickly Marigold is establishing itself as the premier joshi fed hmm.... By November, they should have eclipsed Stardom to rest just around Noah's numbers while NJPW's joshi fed continues to decline.
uhhhhh redditoid mark why are your numbers all wrong? >>15101491why do you included international shows for 2023 totals but only included domestic show numbers for your 2024 data to compare to? why do you evenly split attendance for joint shows between promotions?why are you so fucking stupid and wrong jqncg despite doing these calculations for years?
>>15101445kek rossy really do be faking those numbers
>>15101445This is one of those deals where he has given away hundreds of tickets to local sponsors to do whatever with them and then counted all those tickets as in attendance regardless if anybody used them
>>15101559Don't bother. OP's numbers aren't even correct for total attendance for this year. Guy can't be bothered to show his work or even add properly
>>15100513There is 788 seats on that side
>>15100117They keep pushing new stars and filled their top and mid card with fresh young talent in dragon gate you either sink or swim at the top and if they lose faith in you it's going to take a long time until the company trusts you again ben-k is a great example
>>15101827>if they lose faith in you>ifProblem is they lose faith in every single guy not named Shun Skywalker
>>15101848Skywalker is entertaining as fuck other than him k-zy is the most fun to watch I'm still pissed he was never given a chance with the top belt
>>15101915Yes I agree on both points
>>15101739Can you update them please?
If I was new Japan I would just run super jrs finals if that made for over a 3rd of my tickets for the month.
>>15099629>>Noah (51): 35441 (-50%)kek but that's not a fair comparison given the Muto retirement tour
>>15101758And? There other sides.
>>151032401500 total capacity and the other sides had empty spots too. Rossy has always cooked the numbers. Just watch any old Stardom where he claimed 1300 at Korakuen and half the place is curtained off. Any attendance figures posted should clarify that Dragongate and Marigold are fake numbers.
>>15103470Keep coping you slopdom tranny.
>>15103497I don't watch Stardom "tranny".
Marigold got em seethin
>>15099983one of the old-school tactics for padding attendance is to comp entire rows of tickets to people who have no intention of attending and then assume they all didback in the 80s they used to be able to get the yakuza to bully people into actually using the tickets but they can't any more
