I honestly like the midgets in aew more because there’s variety. The flips. The vanilla ones. The steroids. In wwe you just have vanilla midgets aside from Rey who’s based.

My dad, who never watched wrestling as a fan, saw a smaller modern wrestler on TV (I think it was Kyle O'Reilly) and said "there are a lot more MMA looking guys in wrestling now"That really stuck with me that a lot of smaller guys in wrestling probably don't register as "vanilla midgets" to non-fans but more like UFC cosplayers, and probably don't look out of place in a wrestling ring to normies like they would to people who were wrestling fans in the boom periods
