The International WWE and US Raw archives are about to be purged from the internet
isn't the deal with peacock still going for another year?
>>16292254NXT got deleted, I assume Raw will be too
>>16292223I thought the network catalogue was migrating to Netflix putside USA?
>>16292223And nothing of value was lost.
>>16292223XWT is your friend
>>16292527kek fpbp
>>16292342That was planned but they've got the Vault channel on youtube and they already premiered/streamed Halloween Havoc 1998 on it.I'm willing to bet they're gonna rerun the Monday Night Wars (and put it on a different day ofc Jesus fucking Christ 3 hours of new Raw and then 3 hours of old Raw and Nitro and later 5 hours or 6 hours when they ppv back to back holy fucking shit overload) on YouTube.Maybe put it behind membership. That'd fucking suck hard donkey dick, but it'd have comments and live chat.
>>16292223>r-remember me...
>>16294858I still use the WWE Network desu.
>>16294872It still exists?
>>16294900It does but I’m pretty sure it will die in January
>>16294900Yeah.T. ESL>>16295129Hopefully not, haven't gotten any email about it.
>>16294872Everyone bitched about it because that’s what wrestling fans do but the WWE Network was mega based.
>>16295647I can understand people who had it in its first year would become disappointed as there really was fuck all on there.
>>16292261That really does suck because I wanted to go back and watch all of NXT at some point. I don't see how it would hurt CW or Netflix to allow the older episodes of NXT and Raw to still be on Peacock.
>>16295647Not sure what's gonna happen to everything outside of Raw, SD, NXT and PPV. And those might not even be complete. Looks like they'll be split up on top of that between Netflix, Peacock, CW and maybe ESPN for PPV. As far as non WWE stuff goes that's up in the air entirely, maybe they could sell it to Tony with the caveat of them getting to use the footage they want for cheap. He'd throw it all up online somehow.>>16295691I expect all of NXT there eventually. I just don't think the CW app has that many people working on it so it will take time. As far as keeping them on Peacock goes, it's probably legal shit plus making them exclusive would have given them an edge in rights negotiations.
>>16295129So what happens to the kino 80s archive from WWE midsouth World Class etc? I watch that stuff more than there current PPVs
>>16295713It still sucks because I pay extra for the commercial free version of Peacock. On the CW app I have to watch ads.
>>16295724Could be stuck with that for a while. They sell most of their first run content to streamers after it airs so I don't see them doing ad free any time soon. Would be easier to fuck around with torrents.
>>16295680I mean you had every Raw, every Smackdown, all kinds of other WWF/E TV. Tons of WCW shit, some ECW and territories and “Hidden gem” type content. All the PPVs including new stuff for dirt fucking cheap. Some shitty but possibly entertaining original shows too. It wasn’t perfect, but I would not describe it as “having fuck all”. PPVs alone were worth the price of admission.
>>16292223the wwe archives got canceled
>>16294369This is unironically the WWE business model and why they get such high numbers for streaming. They don't expect an individual to watch all of the content they put on per week, their goal is to average six hours of viewing time a week and they just shotgun content out. To their credit I don't think any other entertainment company has as much owned footage they can just throw out at random while also having weekly live content being produced and they do good numbers with that strategy.
>>16295923Doesn't count, there will always be demand for it; they're only doing it to hide all the fucked up HHH in blackface type stuff on there, but they'll put out Orwelliaj edited & sanitized "clips "
>>16295984so they got cancelled for being racist, still cancelled
>>16295647The WWE network was incredible and too based to continue existing in this world. Being able to sit down and say "okay let's watch WCCW" and have access to everything available from them that was ever filmed was literally the ideal for how everyone imagined the internet working back in the day. All the PPVs, all the big arena shows, the entire tape library from every company the WWE absorbed..For $10 you couldn't beat that
>>16295923fraid so
>>16296007Was crazy for the time
>>16292223The first version of WWE Network was based as fuck. Never had any streaming issues with it. Then when they switched to, funny enough, Endeavor from the company that was bought by Disney, it fucking sucked. Peacock was a major upgrade from the Endeavor version, but still isn't even half as good as the original version.
>>16296007What sad is that Bischoff always coped losing to WWE is that "at least the history of WCW and wrestling is safe in Vince McMahon hands because his family respects the history and will preserve it" unlike the soulless group that owned WCW at the end. Just for Vince to be screwed over by soulless corporate jews who don't care about wrestling history
>>16299029>at least the history of WCW and wrestling is safe in Vince McMahon hands because his family respects the history and will preserve itThis is a massive fucking lie. Dude will say anything for a potential job. >Just for Vince to be screwed over by soulless corporate jews who don't care about wrestling historyI half feel bad for him, but not fully because he wanted wrestling to be solely about him. There's a place for it, yeah, but I want a world with Vince slop and real wrestling. I actually loved it when him and Tony were running things. Now it's all hit and miss.
>>16299029>respects the history and will preserve itNo one tell him what they did to Starrcade
wwe history so bad it got cancelledlike 4 5 star bangerswho cares?
>>16295647The hidden gems section was dimes. The new vault channel is a million times better, but at the time it was amazing. They had WCW's Festival de Lucha pilot on there. Such a fucking obscure and irrelevant pilot, but it was there, hidden in between dark matches and other zany content.
>>16300637they need to sell all that shit to tonycould make a cool 50M ez
>>16292223it's over
>>16292223Interesting news
>>16292223oh hell yeah
>>16292223say it aint so
>select programmingSo that means no benoit, probably no shows that revolve around vince too much
>>16300637There was/is a fantastic site that had all the hidden gems content listed in chronological order.
>>16295723Yeah, i mean wwe vault is fun and all but sometimes i want to deep dive at my leisure. Where will i go if not for peacock? Im noyt renewing if peacock gets gimped.
