When did you stop watching and why?
>>16392452Still watch it every week, and it's still better than WWE.
>>16392459This is just lies at this point.
everyone having to sell that fat retard eddie kingstons embarrassing "chops" like death because tony liked him (because meltzer liked him) is what put the final nail in the coffin for me
>>16392464No, you're just coping. Still Vince btw.
>>16392472get off the dole you fat crippled freak
>>16392477What the fuck are you talking about?
>>16392452>Stopped watching Rampage not long after it started airing>Stopped watching Dynamite weekly once MJF got the world title, stopped watching Dynamite entirely after Revolution 2023>Stopped watching Collision after Punk got fired>Still watching PPVs but not the whole way through

>>16392477Dont fight my battles for me.I ignored that delusional tranny for a reason.
>>16392469Absolutely dreadful
>>16392490paranoia isnt healthy
>>16392452I stopped watching sometime in 2021 when they started debuting NXT shitters every other episode.
>>16392452It's been a slow burn since ditching The Elite storyline and putting the belt back on Mox. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it's quickly become apparent it's going nowhere.
>>16392520And you lost bryan danielson
>>16392452People I like aren’t getting pushes in favor of mediocrity like Ospreay, Adam Smol, Danny Garcia, Jungle Boy, Private Party, etc. There wasn’t a definitive single moment I can point to off the top of my head. I just kind of slowly stopped giving a shit.>>16392469They really are literally the worst chops in any notable fed and smarks pretend like he’s mmmm pure strikes certified because they like his promos. No one is able to name 5 good Eddie Kingston matches with links
>>16392542>No one is able to name 5 good Eddie Kingston matches with linksall his actually good shit was as a bingo hall shitter in 2006 CZW
Combo of Punk leaving, Tony bringing washed japs but Final nail was Cole as the devil storyline.
Idk at some point after All In Wembley and All Out that year I started to fall off a little but desu once Omega was out due to divirticultis I felt his absence bigtime and realized how much he hard carried AEW for me. I think now I’m at the point where I can’t be bothered to watch because I realize that this company and Tony have zero ambition to be anything more than what they are right now and that’s a weird cross between late stage WCW and 2010 TNA. Like this product is not going to improve very much from what it is and how it’s run by Tony rn. They don’t have booking. They don’t have storylines. They don’t make use of the talent well. I mean I get why Omega may feel like New Japan would make better use of his return than AEW would. It’s such a small pond for indie and ex WWE guys to feel like they’re big fish getting obscene paychecks while being on TV 2 weeks a month.
>>16392452When that El Vikingo guy came in to wrestle Omega and I asked a simple question of "who?" and got attacked by AEW fans for not doing "my homework" and how "he's great" just to see a horrible overly obvious choreographed generic bore and then have those same fans convince it was great because Meltzer gave it 5stars. It was "so great"that the company never pushed him again.I knew everything around this company, from the fans to Booker are a lost cause
>>16392565This. I think you said it right there for me. AEW lacks ambition and creativity. Which is crazy considering a lot of us were on board with them at the start as the revolution on pro wrestling.
>>16392555Tony continuously bringing in guys like Shibata, Ishii and Suzuki along with pushing ROH so hard on AEW airtime makes so little sense to me. These guys only appeal to the absolute most hardcore of fans who know what’s happening in Japan or off air. Casual fans who are your NEW fans being brought in probably look at these smaller, skinnier, older Japanese guys and don’t think much of them as they don’t look like much at first glance. Like I don’t think Tony is concerned at all with the idea of bringing in new AEW fans.
>>16392520The Elite to Death Riders transition just isn't well done and there isn't enough strong faces to represent the AEW brand against either faction. It says a lot when I'm mostly interested in Jay White who's just representing himself.
>>16392579Shibata at least looks good for his age and had a potential story they could have told with him coming back from a career ending injury but as far as I know it's never emphasized and it's too far into his return run to be worth mentioning. Ishii and Suzuki are just shells of what they used to be and are only brought in because Tony thinks they look funny.
>>16392452I fell for pw bait and one of the matches had the guy rubbing his face on someones dick and i've not watched since.
>>16392579I've wondered if Ishii being more willing to work AEW lately is due to Okada. I could see Okada telling Tony to give Ishii some easy checks.
>>16392590
>>16392600I could easily see Okada trying to get his older NJPW buddies easy paychecks considering Okada is absolutely robbing Tony blind as we speak.
