I'd take Vince's word over some fat-nosed goblin kike any day. WWE is a pipeline you hook kids when they're young by making it watchable on TV or cheap enough for their parents to afford to take them to shows, then you make money out of them for the rest of their life. TKO are concerned with making as much money as soon as possible with little regard for the future. That strategy is what kept Vince alive in the 90s.

Vince recognized that a big crowd of varied and relatively normal people always made everything look and feel more legitimate when on TV. Once the Tarp Era began, it seems everyone else besides Vince was terrified and sought to simply retain the hardcore fans who wouldn't mind being packed in on the side the hardcam is viewing while their favorite wrestlers keep coming out to talk to empty seats with their back turned towards the paying audience.
