This is the destination for all based webms, brotherOn tonight's docket: NJPW Blue Justice XVI, NOAH N-1 Victory, TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE IV and more!
>his name is actually YUTO-ICE and he says bomboclat in the ringI can't help but love this retard
webmchad, do you have anything from CZW Tournament of Death? It was outside-backyard-bullshit-tier but it was kino, even with methed out Nick Gage
Next up is TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE IV!>>18802247I don't, it honestly doesn't seem like the kinda thing I'd enjoy watching. If you have a source and some requests I'd gladly get them for you, though!
>>18802268I just watch it on watchwrestling so it's not exactly high quality. Dont bother, it's mostly people hitting themselves with light tubes
God DAMN this elbow.

>>18802004>based webmsjust how i like em
I say this as a huge Fujita fan, but it's such a shame that this match got Fujita'd so hard. At this point it was really looking like we were gonna get grapplekino with a power vs. technique angle and Ulka targeting Fujita's arm, but he just gets steamrolled.>>18806093>based anonsNow we're talking
>>18802004Haha time for the best thread of the week!
>>18806432Happy to have you, bumpbro.
I'm 95% sure this was a work given that it was a countout and not an immediate stoppage. Makes sense for the matchup and it's a cute way to give Maru points and rob OZAWA of the seemingly easy win.
Finner
With N-1 season comes unskippable hardcam shows.

That's all for me for today! Tomorrow I'll return with more shoot style, King's Road, and maybe even more if I have time to actually make it. Thank you all for hanging out tonight! It's been a pleasure as always. I hope we stay up until tomorrow. Goodnight, bros.

If I can make a request... >Kana and Kiyoka Kimura (2008)Insanely stiff match with the highlight being a shoot headbutt that busts Asuka head open and makes her bleed all over the place. A lot of great visuals in that one. Thank you, webmbro.
>>18802004how was takayamania? i would have bought it but it wasn't on wrestleuniverse and abema wouldnt let me buy
I'm back! Thank you all for keeping the thread bumped. I'm starting off with a request from yesterday, and then moving onto a mix of action from different decades.>>18808263Definitely sounded like my speed, so I went ahead and made some webms. Here you go!>>18808309It was a fun show. Similar to last year's in terms of match style, a mix of 2000s throwbacks and comedy stuff. The general air of this show was much more lighthearted, though. Takayama on commentary, no heartbreaking promo to end the show. It was fun, and I bet if you like Takayama or any of his contemporaries you'd like it.
Ouch.
Next up is something that wasn't really requested but more like suggested last week, one of three GanPro matches I checked out. This is Imanari vs. Abe from 16.03.25!
I wasn't all-too impressed with Imanari, but luckily for him I can watch Abe brain a guy for ages.
A bit uncharacteristically I'm gonna go out of order for the GanPro matches just to save my favorite for last. This is Imanari vs. Mochizuki from 01.09.25!
Last but definitely not least from my little GanPro expedition is Hikaru Sato & Tyson Maeguchi vs Munetatsu Nakamura & Toru Sugiura from 11.04.25!
Oh nice, you ended up giving GanPro a shot. Wasn't sure if you'd check out any from the list I threw together last week... I'm almost afraid to ask, but overall impression?
>>18809950>>18810004>>18810086>>18810164>>18810207Thank you! It's shame our board doesn't allow sound because this is one of the LOUDEST striking matches I've ever heard. I love shoot-style wrestling and this more than any other match made me wonder how much was actually a work. I don't think I've ever seen two workers hit with so much vitriol and animosity before. I wonder what their relationship was like. I did a brief Google search but didn't find if there was any real heat.
This match follows my absolute favorite format of>young guy gets cocky and does something so retarded he spends the next 10 minutes going through a baptism of fire>>18810802>I'm almost afraid to ask, but overall impression? There's a bit of my thoughts spread across the thread, but out of the three matches I watched, Imanari was the central focus in two out of three, and I just wasn't very impressed with him. He was the thing I was primarily aware of from GanPro going in, so that colored my impression quite a bit. I still like Abe and Mochi, so I had fun watching, but this tag match really stole the spotlight. It features two of my favorite current shoot stylists, a guy I kinda like and a rookie who just plays a punching bag. It's a winning concept.
Speaking of stiff, why the fuck did Sato do him like this? I was fucking howling watching this shit, he didn't have a third of all that coming>>18810911I was actually kinda wishing for some more Ikedaism on the punches, but that's a minor gripe. The roughest part to me was the hair pulls and that sleeper, Kana makes the nastiest gasping sounds as she's let go.
>>18810912>>18810992Fair enough, glad you liked some of it at least. Imanari is a weird case for me, I don't find him to be a particularly interesting wrestler. He doesn't really excel in any aspect, and I didn't really see the appeal or why he's pushed so hard at first... but there's something odd about him. The more I watch the more he seems like an ideal partner for such a wide variety of challengers, it's endearing in a way. He's not a 5-star general but he has some chemistry with everyone. There's no duds... Hikaru Sato and Mizuki Watase are still my favorites. So needlessly violent.
God damn these are GROSS.>>18811107>Hikaru Sato and Mizuki Watase are still my favorites. So needlessly violent.Yeah, I've always liked Sato, always fun to see him pop up on a card. Intriguing about Watase, but deathmatch wrestling has incredibly diminishing returns to me.
>>18811196Watase only does deathmatch stuff in FREEDOMS or in the odd "special" challenge matches. He has a wider range, if inclined check out:>Vs. Keisuke Ishii (GanPro 5/5/2023)>Watase/HUB/TORU vs. Sato/Kengo/LEONA (Tenryu Pro 2/12/2022)>Vs. Tyson Maeguchi (GanPro 1/5/2023)>Vs. Ken Ohka (DDT 4/9/2022)He had a great mini rivalry with Sato:>Vs. Hikaru Sato (Tenryu Pro 7/3/2022)>Vs. Hikaru Sato (Tenryu Pro 8/17/2022)They had a 3rd match but it didn't live up to the first two BUT there's a few tags involving them in Tenryu Pro that are pretty good, especially when Hideki Suzuki and Keita Yano join in....and I can't believe I'm saying it, because I've never rated him much higher than "decent big guy," but:>Vs. Hartley Jackson (DDT 11/27/2022)Apparently he teamed with Shigehiro Irie against The Astronauts but it was in WXW, so I haven't seen it.
>>18811595>>Vs. Tyson Maeguchi (GanPro 1/5/2023)Interesting, this should be on Wrestle-Universe too with any luck.>mini rivalry with Sato>tenryu proIf I can figure out how to watch Tenryu Pro I'd love to give that a go.>but it was in WXW, so I haven't seen it.WXW, the GOATs of promising matchups and lackluster production. Speaking of, sorta. A match I've been meaning to get to for almost six months now.
Such an Ikeda/Ishikawa spot. Those last running kicks especially.
I love this sell from Abe. The weird height of the WXW ropes adds to how much he just crashes down.
The sequel, now without hardcam!
BattlARTS guys are so fucking good at exhaustion sells.
Pants off from this point forward! This is Misawa/Akiyama vs. Williams/Ace from 7.6.96.
>item: two boots to the face>origin: downtown
You can't just wrestle Williams and not take a Backdrop Driver. It was bound to happen at some point.
>turns you 360 degrees and walks away
God damn brother
>>18813037going for the hayabusa special
Next up's the second matchup between these four, from 09.07.1996 and Kawada isn't happy about it. Not one bit.
Man I love Misawa's back elbow.
GO GO GO
This is one hell of an elbow.
The pure disrespect in all of Kawada's body language here. So good.
Alternatively, "Akiyama gets killed for a full minute just because he decided to show up to work that day"
Eugh.
The touch of taking Akiyama out of commission to kill Misawa is so simple but a really nice touch.
Fucking Godtier. Kawada's so clearly the best delayed seller ever. Incredible.
>>18809950Still need to go through the archive to get some of the old stuff I missed
>>18814051Always makes me happy to hear. If there's something you can't find, let me know. If not I'm excited to see what you end up grabbing!
And that's all for me for today! Next week the NJPW/NOAH coverage will continue, and you'll probably get some King's Road as well! We'll see what else I run into, but I can promise you more fresh OC content! Thank you all for spending another night with me. I'll see you all in next week's thread. Goodnight, bros!
