Nobody said 'it's over', and the first line of my post says 'you can become a good speaker'. I said you most likely can't become like Cornette because it is the realistic truth, same as if someone asks you if you think they could become a top athlete all of a sudden in their 20's or 30's, or a great classical pianist, and both of those things are a lot more concrete in terms of training than speaking.
A person with poor social skills can learn to give a good speech, because they are miming examples of other good speeches and orators who gathered all the info and did all the trial and error. The second they try to speak on their own or adjust their speech because the audience isn't responding they way they expected, it will all go downhill as they lack the years of social experience and neural programming, etc.
