If you are not attending local wrestling, what the fuck are you actually doing?

Compare the following:
Local wresting: Low ticket price, nearby, super cheap to be in the front row, wrestlers work the room getting everyone involved, cheap signed photos, accessible wrestlers, community event, see the cultural transmission of wrestling to younger generation, follow the development of the wrestlers, see new gimmicks, watch the promotor manage the event doing 10 jobs at once, chance to visit new places following the promotions around. Made out of love. It's basically interesting as fuck.

To

Mainstream wresting: Triple digit ticket price, either in nosebleeds squinting at a screen or looking at the back of a head on a floor seat, time wasting downtime during ads, limited or expensive meet and greet, corporate vibes, bland characters to be TV safe, no fan interaction, nightmare to get to, nightmare to park, better experience to watch at home.

For so long, I thought TV tier wrestling was the real deal and local stuff was a sad imitation, but after going to about 10 of these shows, the opposite is true. The essence of wrestling is in these small rooms and the big promotions are a pale imitation. That's my thinking anyway.

What have your local shows been like? Any interesting angles or gimmicks?
