After watching this match, I realized Dom is a little big to be doing a lucha or lucha adjacent skillset. At the very least he should be working more as a base and with a more mat based style

What do you think?

he's not too big, he just sucks. Bigger guys than him who can move really well can pull off lucha perfectly fine.
>>
some of the moves looked off because vikingo being too short and i think vikingos knee pads kept moving at one point dom had to buy time for vikingo to readjust them

he doesn't have a luchador style, he has an eddie guerrero style

El Grande has been working Lucha as a heavyweight for decades now. Everything Dom is doing now is working, he doesn't need to change anything, he doesn't even primarily work Lucha style, he works like a mix of Rey, Eddie and Konnan and how they adapted the style to America.

Konnan?
>>
he's left handed so all of this shit looks weird

Konnan was maybe the first guy who started doing American style with a few lucha moves thrown in. Rey and Eddie etc. still wrestled mostly lucha style then adapted later, with Eddie being more American style with lucha thrown in and Rey being Lucha with American thrown in. Dom was also trained by Rey, Konnan, Helms, etc
