People called Buddy washed but this was basically just a longer than usual match. It wasn’t even bad, just edge wanting to do more submissions.

If Hogan hadn't botched the fireball stunt it wouldn't really be any worse than a lot of other late 90s WCW matches with 80s WWE stars and an NWO interference screwjob finish. It's not even the main event of the show, so it's not like the whole PPV was riding on that one match.
