It’s almost New Year’s again and I’m sitting here staring at /pw/ like I always do. Same board, same tabs, same stupid arguments looping forever. While everyone else is probably out pretending their lives are going somewhere, I’m refreshing threads about ratings and pushes like that’s a personality. This whole year just blurred together into shows and PPVs. I don’t remember months, I remember reigns. I don’t remember weekends, I remember injuries and returns.
I told myself last year I’d stop caring so much. That I’d just “watch casually.” Yeah right. I still get mad when my guy loses, still doomscroll post-show threads, still argue with strangers who hate the same thing I love for slightly different reasons. And the worst part is I know it’s pathetic. I know none of this matters. But it’s the only thing that’s consistent. Jobs change, people disappear, but wrestling is always there, even when it’s bad. Especially when it’s bad.
Everyone’s doing the whole “new year, new me” thing and I don’t even know what that means for someone like me. Stop watching? Stop posting? Then what? Sit alone with my thoughts and no live thread to hide in? At least here, even when I get called an idiot, I exist for a second.
In a few minutes the year changes and nothing else will. Same shows, same discourse, same disappointment. Someone will debut, someone will get buried, and I’ll be right here acting surprised. So yeah. Happy New Year, I guess. See you in the next thread. You know I’ll be there.

In basketball terms, we say “flush it” after a bad loss. For the year of 25, I’ve decides to flush it. I actually flushed it about 6 days ago but it was to early.

>broke up 3 months ago
>find out through friend circle she is talking to some other dude
>they went to a party and they might have fucked also
2025 was fucking dogshit. I have no hope anymore, I'm just going to work my ass off and not care what any bitch thinks of me anymore

If you actually wrote this it is a really well done, heartful post and you have the intellect to do things with your life. No idea what your situation is, but hope you have a good year.

Ungodly awful year from start to finish.
I'm a fucking mark and trying to convince myself 2026 will be better but how could it be? It's all the same shitty life.

Main Eventers started out jobbing.

Even if it takes eating shit in the first few matches of your run with a new gimmick, eventually, you will get better and better booking if you stay consistent and keep getting your reps in.

If you just sit in catering every show staring at the monitor then there is no point for you to stay with the fed. May as well get future endeavored. But that's not an option; so it's time to grab the brass ring.

2025 was awesome. Best year of the decade since 2020.
