>shows up still sawdusted>botches several spots>wins your tag belts with mist>still the most over guy on the showBased or cringe?
>>19594669Based
>>19594669>bad knees>can't see properly>gets by off charisma alone and mogs everyonetruly Muto's successor
>>19594669Thought this dude was retiring in like 3 days
>>19594669Without question fucking B A S E D
>>19594669God I hope they do a Naito/Marufuji singles. Imagine the botch kinoAlso based
>>19594669I haven't watched New Japan in a while but he was sloppy as fuck.
Bringing in broken down old men who were more famous elsewhere is the NOAH tradition. Be more shocked they didn't make Inamura just instantly roll over and let Naito take the belt.
>>19594669Even while botching he got the biggest pops
>>19595967he'd be world champ right now if he was capable of having a *** singles match
>>19594669He could wrestle in a wheelchair and he would still be based.
>>19594669Naito will always be based, and you can't convince me otherwise. In fact, I think his botches are a work. How do you like them apples?
>>19595967I'm a Noahlet, I know they have some of their own guys who are good though. Why do they always job out?
>>19594676How poetic he was Muto's last opponent
>>19596589NOAH wants to grow and try to be competitive with NJPW so they grab practically any big name they can to try to get eyes on the product. So far though Naito's been the least offensive. Muto could barely move but they put the GHC belt on him and made Kaito job to him a bunch of times before letting Kaito get a win on him. Ibushi's body exploded mid-match which made the most memorable part of the whole event Jake Lee looking a mix of depressed and desperate to get the fuck out of NOAH. Naito and Bushi with the tag belts isn't the worst thing in comparison to those. If Naito has any sense he'll lean heel and let Bushi and Ryusei do most of the work for him. I do think at least the moment though NOAH seems to have some sense to keep the main event scene for their young guys and the veterans who still move fairly well like Kenta but who knows how long that'll last.
>>19596694When you put it like that, that's fair. I've seen clips of that Ibushi match kek>they grab practically any big name they can to try to get eyes on the productI can't really blame them, I checked out the show for Naito. It was alright overall, junior hebbiq was definitely the highlight
>>19596300HOLY BASED. My kind of guy
>>19594676>>19596634The difference is that Mutoh had like a 20 year slide to that physical condition and did a lot of good work on the way downNaito has hit the wall in like 2-3 years and hit it bad
>>19596753>The highlight was a njpw wrestler carrying a noah guy to the match of his lifeMaybe njpw isn't that grin after all
