US title played into Ethan also being North American champ as well, which is why I question the reasoning of her losing it unless she is going to win the top belt. Titles were elevated by having a story and identity behind them but her US title contenders did not have the weight or their own personal storylines behind them to get the other person over by winning. Chelsea got over so it makes sense to have a heel get heat by winning but that didn't happen.
