east coast indie wrestler here, fairly new but curious, what on the indies would attract you or what you hate?

>what on the indies would attract you
hot, barefoot women
>or what you hate?
anything that isn't hot, barefoot women
>>
i like when you guys hit each other with glass and other dangerous items
>>
I want a realistic down to earth show that’s totally off the wall and swarming with magic robots and I should win things by watching.

Not really giving much away eh? Good on you to protect your own identity. As far as we know, you could be any wrestler on the East coast. However, I would definitely want to see something similar to XPW but without it being a literal trainwreck caused by Rob Black's own reckless actions. Might be something to consider talking to colleagues on the indies about. Have a taped weekly show on YouTube along with a few livestreamed supershows. Would be cheap to tape a weekly show once a month than to constantly be on the road every week to be honest.

no idea who you are but picrel tells me you're at least a little based
>>

have an occasional event where every match has a wrestler's personal possession on the line to be thrown into a wood chipper if they lose, use things like a puppy or their grandmother's multigenerational fine china

I know some places that have been trying to get schools opened or use existing schools to bring back the taped weekly/monthly show format. I agree that things like that can be beneficial to not only bookers, but the students and schools.

protect kayfabe

Easier said than done, especially in the social media era, roles flip company to company. One show, you’re a heel. Next show, fiery babyface.
>>

Create 2 accounts for each company.
It's irrelevant that the biz is exposed.
You act like the character outside the ring.

>>19665113
No first name last name. Get a wrestler name.
Do not do funny shit if you are a serious character.
Keep keyfabe. Don't be like Aleister burying his character by being a dork online.
You have to be good at selling. No shit like transition to a move after a superplex. If you do, at least sell it afterwards like slowly dragging yourself for the pin or not pinning right away.
Dont be political. Don't do shit like highlighting lame pol shit or tranny support banners.

I've seen a few on the East coast recently that have sprung up as well with weekly shows of their own to be honest. SPO (Super Powers of Wrestling) has been using their school in Mount Holly, New Jersey as an arena for their weekly Total Rassling Live show and their sister promotion Pro Wrestling Unplugged. Though honestly, it would probably work out to have an East coast indie promotion to be a little more violent while maintaining good quality booking and writing.

This anon has it right. No more instant recovery after taking a huge bump. Sell the injury and pain. And quite the garbage spots. There was only one Terry Funk, and one Mick Foley. Leave the hardcore shit in the past.
>>

Hi, Rob. When is you next XPW show? thanks
>>
>>19665540
I'd honestly say there's only a few promotions that actually get the deathmatch stuff right. JCW for example in which the wrestlers with deathmatch wrestling history there are well trained and treat it as an art form. Mainly 2 Tuff Tony and Mad Man Pondo. They are capable of selling as well so there's that.
>>

And it's clear you didn't really catch the part where I criticized Rob Black. Didn't say I was him. That part should have been seriously obvious as I've had issues with his mismanagement of XPW in the past. Remember, this is the man that threatens to cut off people's fingers for going against him. Did it with the Messiah and almost did it with Jasmin St. Claire.
>>
Indie promoters catering to the left wing, SJW, fag crowd is mind-boggling. It's best to keep personal politics out of a show's theme. GCW is fucking garbage for functioning like this while calling themselves "The last outlaws."
>>

I know 4 wrestlers who could easily destroy the GCW locker room. Mad Man Pondo, 2 Tuff Tony, Drake Younger, and Mickie Knuckles.
