>>19668755NTA but vince seems to have frequently promised people things verbally even if he didn't intend to honor them. in 2019 specifically, there was purportedly this handshake deal to let ziggler go, and he also apparently reached an agreement with punk to return to WWE that also never went through. later he also told danielson he'd let him do the G1 if he stayed in WWE but there was no shot that was happening either.i think in 2019 vince would have been wary about any of his over wrestlers leaving for AEW. that's why i think if he tried to leave 2 or 3 years earlier, he'd've had an easier time. vince wouldn't have cared if he wanted to be mr TNA 2017 or go wrestle kenny in japan then.
