It's fake lil bro. Meltzer makes up the PPV buys. Which is why they're nonsensical and magically stay consistent despite AEW's popularity plummeting. Based on how many fans AEW has lost since 2019, I'm guessing they actually averaged around 30k or 40k PPV buys last year.

this sounds accurate to me. and remember, industry data has shown AEW fans have on average both the highest income and educational attainment. WWE fans on the other hand are the poorest and dumbest (which why slopdown got cancelled), ahead of even TNA - though those are really one in the same now.
