TNA used to have a rule where you could lose a title on DQ. It was something that was implimented at the start and done once early on when Jerry Lynn & Amazing Red lost the Tag Titles to Triple xXx and forgotten about until Abyss won the title from Sting.

However there was another title match that ended on DQ that wasn't counted. And it wasn't a mistake either. It was Sting vs Jarrett during the whole "let's try to get Hogan in TNA" bullshit with Jimmy Hart.
By all means Sting should have won the title but no one remembered the rule.

they do that with the rematch rule all the time. Rhea got like 5 matches to beat Liv. Liv didn't get a rematch and then Rhea got a rematch with IYO because "if you lose the belt you get a rematch"

I fucking hate the selective rematch rule.

TNA was really bad for this sort of thing

Liv humiliation rituals aren’t surprising.

When a promotion has a "Champion must defend in 30 days" rule and proceeds blow past that date and nothing happens.

Wrestlers wearing necklaces and earrings and then even heel opponents ignore it. Bill Watts would have told them to use it
as a weapon against them.
