You know it’s going 60 minutes. There’s no tension or anything until basically the last five minutes. When they did Brock/Kurt on TV, ratings took a shit until the end. The question is, if they wanna do a longer match type then why don’t they just do long matches anymore?

why watch wwe at all if you want to see interesting matches

2/3 falls >>>>> Iron Man

Why are you watching wrestling if you don't like watching wrestling?

couple of other thoughts:

Cage w Pinfall inside cage >>> "Escape" rules cagematch
One on One Ladder Match >>> "multi man" ladder match
6 Man tag >>>> "scramble"
Mixed Tag team match >>> Intergender match
Fatal 4 Way >>> Triple Threat
Single elimination tournaments >>> round robin tourney
Dog collar/strap/chain match w pinfall >>> "touch all 4 corners" dog collar/strap/chain match

Elimination Chamber should be at Survivor Series, not the February PLE between the Rumble and Mania

The Iron Survivor match is an Iron Man but good.

It's when it's a "these guys want to kill each other" blood feud and the cage match is supposed to be an escalation in the feud that allowing a win by escape is just retarded.

>Elimination Chamber should be at Survivor Series, not the February PLE between the Rumble and Mania
Survivor Series should go back to having 5-person elimination team matches, let Elimination Chamber and Wargames both be their own events.

Another random thought:
4-way tag matches with 4 wrestlers in the match at once >>> 4-way tag matches where only two teams are in the ring at once but you can tag anyone
WWE should make clear differences between "no disqualification", "no holds barred", "street fight" and "extreme rules" instead of them all basically being the same thing.

Just like the NBA. But... but... Ric Flair took jobbers to Broadway everynight of the week back in the 80's

The ideal scenario is EC and WarGames are treated like Hell in the Cell and only happen when its warranted - even if it means there are some calendar years without the gimmick match.

As for Survivor Series: is it SD vs Raw or 10 man tags based on feuds on each brand? There has to be some kind of stakes like in '03 (if Austin's team loses, he is no longer GM) or '04 (winning survivors each get to be GM for one night)

The way wrestlers move between the shows all the time, I never saw much point in 'Smackdown vs Raw' matches, there's no real brand loyalty to one show over the other from the wrestlers or the fans. Build the teams and matches around feuds that are going on at the time. You're right that there should be actual stakes though.

I'm OK with Elimination Chamber getting used the way it usually is, to decide the challengers for the titles the Royal Rumble winners aren't going after.

I see your point on Wargames but WWE probably like doing it yearly. Bring back the Wargames cage having a fairly low roof like in WCW so the big guys can bounce opponents up into it, or keep it open so someone can injure themselves every year jumping off the top?

Pretty sure Haitch and Benoit had an extremely based Iron man match on RAW in 04. Brock vs Kurt had a lot of action and good storytelling as well.

What about HHH/Benoit?

I always wanted to see a iron-man were the underdog goes 1 up early on and the rest of the match is him getting battered and then he hit his finisher with about a minute to go and goes 2 up and the last minute is just the champ chasing him around the ring till he finally gives up and the crowd count down the last 10 second would be kino with the right people
