Lucy Lawless breast-feeding her dead baby visits him and sends him to an alternate reality where he survived, and he was the person who threw the spear and killed Spartacus. He goes from the Underworld to awakening in bed with his two body slaves. As a reward for killing Spartacus, Crassus gifts him the villa and gladiator ludus from the original series. It's actually a pretty solid show. Apparently there is a historical basis for the female gladiators that play a role. Which goes to show that women were ruining combat sports going back to the first century.... I kid. They are nice to look at.
