Mike is such an amazing babyface. Dude just nails the “Aw, shucks” midwesterner vibe. Always ready to make someone else look strong. Always ready to put someone over yet never loses his aura. Joel had a slightly more smug and sarcastic vibe. There is no show without Joel, and he really was great, but Mike is the best host. Also since it’s on topic but TV’s Frank is BASED.

The new Mike episodes are going to be better than what Joel tried to do the past few years anyway since Mike and company never really stopped doing this and obviously have much better business sense.

The ideal arrangement is to have Mike be the host (he's funnier and more charismatic) and have Joel direct and do the props (which he enjoys more anyway). Play to both their strengths.
