Did you join the revolution anon?
>>19875957Afraid not.
>>19875973You gay?
>>19875957all the cool kids did. why do you think every advertising campaign in the 90s was trying to be "extreme"? they all wanted in on the hot new thing. THIS IS EXTREEEEEEEEEEEME
>>19875984Afraid so.
I joined the “reveloution”
I was like 5
>>19875985Based
>>19875957why would steff shill for ECW? I thought WWE revived them in like 05
>>19875957I remain EXTREME to this day
Yeah one of my brother's friends taped the PPVs and let me make copies.
It was really something to someone who had mostly just seen WWF and WCW. Everyone was so much edgier and they did all kinds of things I had never seen before.

>>19875957I wanna fuck Francine so badly.
>>19876562same
>REVELOUTION
>>19876471they came along at a time when WWF and WCW were stuck in the past and fumbling a lot (kind of like now). ECW basically ignited the boom period of the mid-to-late 90s, although they don't usually get credit for it. when ECW began to gain popularity, both WWF and WCW started cannibalizing their roster and their ideas, and that's what led to the attitude era and a lot of other things. It was ECW that turned Steve Austin into Stone Cold, gave Mick Foley a fresh start, introduced us to Rey and Eddie, and so on and so on. Most of the things that made that era unique came from ECW.
>>19876656Absolutely.
>>19876225What do you do anon?
>>19875957yes and i also watched it brutally crushed. the memories of what could have been haunt me to this day
>>19876656ECW also imported the use of tables from japan via sabu
>>19877005Why didn’t they use light tubes?
>>19877068A light tube was not used in a wrestling match until late 2000 at which point ECW was leaning more into juniors wrestling than they were gimmick matches. Even guys like dreamer and sandman were doing dives and drop kicks which were considered high flying at the time.
>>19877258Yea towards the end ecw was kinda weird and dialed it back a bit.
>>19876471Especially in like 1995 when WCW Nitro comes along in Sept of that year. WWF at the time was very bland and still catering to kids like they are nowadays, WCW was a bit more radical but not by much. ECW was like another planet in comparison.
>*Hey Man, Nice Shot starts playing*
I was like 6 when it went out of business, so no.
>>19875957I don't even think it was available by me.I don't ever remember seeing it on TV
>>19875995>>19876589Besides popularizing the Death Valley Driver as the Spicolli Driver, what else could our boy Lou have done if he hadn't passed away so prematurely? Thanks a lot WCW.
>>19877402Kino

>>19875957Shane Douglas is one of my all-time favorites
>>19877909Why does he work at Target now?
>>19879433At some point it's better to choose long life over a cheap pop.
>>19879433HHH stole his gimmick and his career
Nobody can name a single thing that happened in ECW before "The night the line was crossed" except me, who saw Super Destroyer 1 vs Super Destroyer 2 in a mask match
