The time is ripe! The mortals scattered the relics we gave them, none of the guardians are worthy. Find the relics, build us a temple, place them there and have the mortals worship us again! - says the elder god councilyou are a minor deity! the major deities all keep bossing you aroundYou have 200 points to distribute in your statsThe stats areStrengthHabilityResistanceArmorFirepowerAirEarthFireWaterLightDarknessExtra Hitpoints + 10 (1 point each time you pick)Extra Mana points + 10 (1 point each time you pick)You have base hp = resistance * 5You have base mp = resistance * 5Up to 5 points each stat costs 1 point per point (that is level 5 costs 5 points). Most mortals have attributes between 0-2, powerful ones have attributes 1-5. Very few mortals have attributes above 5. Stats above 10 are veritably godlike.6 - 8 points7 - 13 points8 - 20 points9 - 29 points10 - 40 points11 - 53 points12 - 68 points13 - 85 points14 - 104 points15 - 125 points16 - 148 points17 - 173 points18 - 200 pointsBesides stats, the only things you can spend points on are: Occult Power - spending an amount of points equal the amount to have a given attribute, you can distribute that many points to your attributes temporarily by spending an amount of MP equals to the cost of the occult power. You could increase HP temporarily as well (but not MP) by an amount equal the cost in points. In case you choose to only increase HP, you can decide to use less MP than the maximum.Ex. You have Occult Power 12. For a cost of 68 Mana, you can distribute an extra 12 points on any attribute that you want. It lasts 1 hour. So suppose you have Strength 10. You can increase your strength to 22. Or you could distribute your points in other attribute. Or you could increase your HP by up to 680, or a fraction if you don't wanna use 68 Mana.Empower: works the same as Occult Power, but only on other people. The mana cost is the same and the effect lasts 24 hours. You can double the costs to double the duration, up to 5 times (for 32 times the cost and 32 days of duration).Ex. You have empower 10 for 40 points. You could increase a person all atributes by 2 for a day for 80 MP. Or you could do it for 32 days for 1280 MP.also choose a name, a gender and what are you a deity of
Before I vote on anything, can you explain what 'hability' is, as well as what the differences in regards to strength vs firepower and armor vs resistance? Also, for occult power:>"spending an amount of points equal the amount to have a given attribute, you can distribute that many points to your attributes temporarily by spending an amount of MP equals to the cost of the occult power"The phrasing is pretty unclear. Do you mean that we can use redistribute the points invested in Occult Power to other stats as if we were buying them by investing an equivalent amount of mp?
>>6181518I'm with this anon, would like some info on the stats first
>>6181518>>6181520Sorry, I don't think "Hability" is a word, my bad.Strength - feats of physical prowess, melee combatAbility - your general agility and dexterity, capability of avoiding damageResistance - resisting detrimental effects of all kindsArmor - damage absorptionFirepower - capability of causing damage at rangeThe range of your firepower is 10 yards per point. The type of damage can be anything you want.
>>6181535Oh, I hadn't planned it at first, but if you want you can buy extra range for your firepower at 1 point per each 10 yards, to make kind of a sniper.
>>6181538AirEarthFireWaterLightDarknessthose are your magic statsyou can opt to put zero points on those if you don't wanna do magic
>>6181545So, here's what I'm looking at:<Stats>Strength: 7 (13)Ability: 7 (13)Resistance: 9 (29)Armor: 8 (20)Firepower: 10 (40)(Total expenditure: 115)<Attributes>Earth: 5 (5)Water: 8 (20)Darkness: 8 (20)(Total expenditure: 45)<Buffing>Occult Power: 9 (29)Empower: 6 (8)(Total expenditure: 37)<Bonus Stats>Extra Mana: 30 (3)(Total expenditure: 3)This should add up nicely to 100. Considering the attributes and stat distribution, I'm thinking Mariana, Goddess of the Deep, but if someone has a cooler male concept I'm not too attached to it.
>>6181598sounds nice for our goddess
>>6182004You are Mariana, Goddess of the Deep! You take your Divine Carriage and descend into the realm of mortals.Where are you going to hide it? These things are fragile (giant armor 1, which corresponds to 10, and only 50 HP), and if your break or is stolen, you will have to ask some other god to come pick you up when you decide to return.Wherever you choose to hide your Carriage is your starting place for the quest.> Hide your Carriage deep under the sea> Hide your Carriage in a dark cave> Hide your Carriage at the top of a mountain> Write in
>>6182494>Hide your Carriage in a dark cave
>>6182784You find a dark cave to park your Carriage at. Once you're out of it, it blends with the shadows and would be very hard to find unless someone knew it was there and was looking for it.Within the cave, giant spiders made their lair.Giant Spider Strength 1 Ability 3 Resistance 1 Armor 0 Firepower 1.You don't think they pose any danger to your carriage. You can spend 3 mana to make any of these spiders do your bidding for a day. The costs double with the duration. The tunnels go on underground inside a huge cave complex.(You have 75 mana)> Use earth magic to seal all access to the Carriage chamber, filling it with cryptic glyphs explaining anyone who touches it will be cursed, then teleport outside (17 mana)> Create a swarm of small shadow spirits to explore the cave for you (8 mana)> Just explore the cave yourself, not like you're in a hurry> Leave the cave and go look for life outside> Write in
>>6182882You can add an actual curse for anyone who touches your carriage for an additional 8 mana, if you choose the first option.
>>6182882>Create a swarm of small shadow spirits to explore the cave for you (8 mana)>>6182884but doesn't the option already say they'll be cursed ?
>>6183423>but doesn't the option already say they'll be cursed ?> cryptic glyphs explaining anyone who touches it will be cursedIts a ruse.
Rolled 4 (1d4)>>6183591Summoning the foulest spirits from the plane of pure shadow, you send them out to scout the caves for you. They find:1 - a dragon2 - dark elves3 - kobolds4 - the cave is empty
>>6183593After a long and exhaustive search, the shadow spirits return with the news that the cave complex is devoid of sentient life. The only inhabitants are the giant spiders, the bats they eat, lots of small bugs and a bunch of weird fungi. (You have 67/75 mana)> Wait until it is night and send your shadow spirits to scout outside> Go outside and use earth magic to seal the cave entrance (5 mana) > Flood the cave with water magic to flush the animals out (8 mana)> Summon a Tiny Hut so you can rest and regain your mana (3 mana)> Write in
