You are planning to murder somebody. You are an unassuming person of 28 years of age. You would consider yourself well-educated and quite cunning. No significant other in your life. You work four days a week in an office for a cookware company in Scholton, a nearby town. You would not describe yourself as particularly empathetic or emotional, and the idea of killing someone strikes you about as unsettling as the idea of shooting a deer in a hunt. What kind of killer are you?>Detailed plans and schemes, creative deaths. I have a complexity fetish.>Impulsive and brutal. I make a mess.>Sadistic and drawn out. I just want them to hurt for a long, long time.>Sexual. I’m a slave to my impulses. Aren’t we all?>Simple and efficient. No frills. No fuss.>Quick kills but I leave clues and evidence to taunt the police and public. I want a chase. I want to be seen.
>>6352935>Simple and efficient. No frills. No fuss. We're really not sure why we want to do this, but it's something to do, isn't it?
>>6352935>Detailed plans and schemes, creative deaths. I have a complexity fetish.
>>6352935>Sexual. I’m a slave to my impulses. Aren’t we all?I am horny
>>6352935>Simple and efficient. No frills. No fuss.I am death's avatar.
>>6352935>What kind of killer are you?I do it reluctantly... Those strange men have my wife and my children. They gave me this... Camera, a gopro. A body cam. They want footage of me hunting and killing other people. I have to... For my family...
>>6352935>Detailed plans and schemes, creative deaths. I have a complexity fetish. We’re artistic with this shit.
>>6352935>>Sadistic and drawn out. I just want them to hurt for a long, long time.Fae?
>>6352935>>Impulsive and brutal. I make a mess.
>>6352935>>6352980>Simple and efficient. No frills. No fuss.Baal's Bureaucrat, filling the quota.
>>6352935>Sadistic and drawn out. I just want them to hurt for a long, long time.
You'd like to do things simply and efficiently, without too much risk or ridiculous complexity. That would just get you caught. You have a few weapons at your disposal. Last year, you bought a small gun, a Browning Buck Mark .22 pistol. You also have a kitchen knife, baseball bat and a length of rope. There's some high-strength drain cleaner and bleach under your sink. Lastly, a kettlebell in your cupboard. What will you take with you on your first kill? You can put them in your car. You're not sure whether taking everything would be the best option, so you elect to take up to three things.>Baseball Bat>Kitchen Knife>.22 Pistol>Length of Rope>Drain Cleaner>Bleach
>>6353165>Baseball Bat>.22 Pistol>BleachThe pistol is enough on its own but we'll take the bat in case. Bleach is for any evidence we think we've left.
>>6353165>Drain Cleaner>Bleach>Kitchen KnifeThe first 2 in order to clean up the scene. The knife because a gun is loud, a baseball is cumbersome, but the knife? It is stealthy and portable and has been the closest companion of killers through all of history, with a simple knife you can murder dozens of people as that one korean guy from the 50'(?).
>>6353165>Length of Rope>Kitchen Knife>BleachI did a quest like this like 6 years ago or something.
>>6353165>.22 pistol>Bleach>Kitchen knifeA .22 will be plenty for the kill, but I might as well have some bleach in the car and a knife for butchering any carcasses, I suppose. But wait, are we really taking the car? Make model year and color already narrows it down from a city of hundreds of thousands to a few hundred people. Obviously I will leave electronics at home, but the car itself should not travel the last mile to the Area of Operations. One doorbell camera sees my car and I've given up information I can never take back. It will have to be left at a predetermined Evacuation and Escape zone outside the AO.And then there's the target, which itself determines the Area of Operations. The first target is usually close to the killer, I musn't make that mistake. I will use dice to determine a random target from a suitable list, let's say the Grabbler Associations. Fucking Grabblers, proudly publishing their names and faces in every midsize town and up.I can roll dice to determine which city, which board of directors, and which lucky winner from that board will receive my attention.I will buy some cheap spare clothes from walmart before approaching the AO.I will file the treads off my shoes.I will change into the clothes at 2AM inside my car at the E&E site.I will have brand new tube socks and a t-shirt in my pockets.I will approach the target home in the AO.I will put the tube socks over my shoes and a shirt-mask over my face and infiltrate to the back door.I will defeat the lock of the back door, perhaps by shattering a sliding glass door.I will swiftly do Baal's work inside, with a stop watch allowing me only 60 seconds of work time before I Evac & Escape from the time I breach the back door.I will stick to the time table.I WILL stick to the time table.I will E&E to my car, change my clothing, put the used clothing in a trash bag, and calmly drive away via a circuitous route avoiding well lit streets and residential areas.I will burn all clothing used in the operation. My compulsion will be sated at last.Surely it won't come back.Surely.
>>6353165>Length of Rope>Drain Cleaner>BleachThis would be interesting.
>>6353165>Bleach>Drain Cleaner>Kitchen Knife
You take a knife, some drain cleaner and bleach. Simple, less room for error. You also have brown leather gloves that won’t leave fingerprints, and a pair of black sunglasses that might obscure your identity slightly. Not many people in your city have doorbell cameras, but most businesses and apartments have simple CCTV cameras. The small town nearby where you work has much more rudimentary surveillance, given the area is very deprived. Low regional council funding and investment has left it dilapidated and often seen as a failing town. It’s currently Friday, about 2PM. You worked earlier this week but not today. You’ll have to pick a victim.>Someone random on a countryside or rural road, or maybe in a parked car in a rural spot. I’ll drive past under the pretense of taking a trip to a specific place.>Someone from work. It’ll draw suspicion, but sometimes the obvious suspect is overlooked, especially if it seems random in nature.>I’ll look for the dark alleyways and corners of the city and strike in an unassuming spot.>I’ll break into a small home in the rural, low-income part of town. Should be low profile enough. Maybe making it look like a robbery?>Write In

>>6353514>I’ll break into a small home in the rural, low-income part of town. Should be low profile enough. Maybe making it look like a robbery?we have all the cleaning supplies ready might as less break into someones house if were lucky enought we might get someone with alot of debt so them just randomly disappearing might not look as suspicious

>>6353514>I’ll break into a small home in the rural, low-income part of town. Should be low profile enough. Maybe making it look like a robbery? We're gonna clean their drains and bathrooms so good. The papers will call us Mr. Clean.

You elect to conduct a break-in. It might be a good idea to make it look like a robbery gone wrong, or to make the victim vanish entirely. On one hand, a simple kill and leave is the most effortless and, assuming you quickly scan for any traces of evidence, leaves little room for leads connecting to you and doesn’t suffer from overcomplication. A staged break-in will draw a LOT of scrutiny, and if any of it seems inauthentic it could receive a bigger investigation. However, it’d provide a plausible motive to draw heat off of yourself, and might turn attention local instead of towards the city.Disappearing the victim entirely would be tough work, and you’d have to be very careful with how you do it, but could lead to a full-on mystery for all investigating, and leave no sign of murder.>I’ll stage a break-in and make a mess, taking care not to incriminate myself. I’ll take some valuables to sell the lie.>I’ll just slip in, kill and leave the victim where they are, after disposing of any incriminating evidence.>I’ll completely disappear the victim, one way or another. Burial, dismemberment, dumping the body in the middle of the woods. Something like that.

>>6353810>I’ll completely disappear the victim, one way or another. Burial, dismemberment, dumping the body in the middle of the woods. Something like that.On second thought, since we didn't bring a GUN to our MURDER, trying to leave no evidence with a messy knife murder is going to be next to impossible. Fibers from our clothing will be all over the place from the inevitable struggle and we'll probably be touching many surfaces leaving prints. Gonna have to try to leave a clean house and no signs of struggle or forced entry somehow and pray.
It might be the highest effort, but vanishing the victim would leave the least information for the police to follow through on. To ensure no cameras see you, you’ll have to pick a house on the edge of Scholton’s suburban housing project, near the Whitlick Forest. It doesn’t have any public footpaths but is mostly seen as too dense to walk casually. You live about three hours from the coast, so that might not be an option…Given the messiness of a knife, you’ll need to be very precise or use a different implement once you get there. You’ll wear your black leather gloves to prevent fingerprints, and the sunglasses for slight identity masking. You’ve got a recent public map printout of Scholton, and you see that there are three decent choices that could be plausible for a kill.>House directly backing the Whitlick Forest. Will likely have a backdoor camera. Relatively good part of the suburbs. Nearby convenience store and small theatre provides an alibi.>Last house on the road out of town, neighboring the highway overpass. Covered by the shade, but no easy access to the forest. Very likely a poor area. Probably few cameras but also never peaceful.>Trailer park on the edge of the town, multiple entrances. Nearby gas station and vape store provides a potential alibi. Probably a camera on the lot but unlikely to be good. You’ve seen this park before and it is very run-down. Likely to get a lot of eyes on you if caught.
>>6353929>House directly backing the Whitlick Forest. Will likely have a backdoor camera. Relatively good part of the suburbs. Nearby convenience store and small theatre provides an alibi.I would never want to place myself anywhere near the scene with an alibi, but access to the forest is good. Cameras are a problem, but it's something we're going to have to learn to deal with. There are two types: DVRs and cloud. DVRs are preferable as one could remove the micro SD cards from the cameras and dispose of the DVR and harddrive, but their absence is itself evidence of foul play. Not sneaky. Cloud storage doorbell cams are limited in coverage but virtually impossible to erase once they've captured an image.Killing the power would disable the cameras if they are not connected to battery reserves such as an integrated home security system, which some are, but most people cheap out and avoid the expense. At our skill level this is likely the best bet for now. Gain entry, strangulate victim, cut power at the breaker, remove victim from premises to woods, return to home, restore power, leave the way we came with any evidence, return to woods, and use knife to butcher the carcass of the victim. We can bury fillets of human meat to decompose quickly, and transport the skeleton in a trash bag for crushing, steaming in a pressure cooker, blending, and pouring down a storm drain later.

>>6353929You're not responsible for your players' dumb choices OP. Just write it. They wanted to be retards and leave the gun at home so they can deal with the consequences. We're gonna have to breach through a window to avoid the cameras most likely, and then deal with whatever is inside.
